Midland Funding Midland Credit Management, Inc., and MRC Receivables, Corp HARRASSING, LIERS San Diego, California

This company is a total lie and is trying to ruin my credit.  They contacted me and stated that they were collecting on an old debt. I thought i would do the right thing and pay.  Then i read my credit report. MIDLAND CRED/FUND was on there with a comment stating i have never paid anything.  I contacted the Experian credit and within a month, they were removed.  I thought i was out of the clear until this week.

I decided to review my credit report and noticed MIDLAND FUND was on there with a large balance and stating that I opened an account with them in March 2010.  I never opened an account with them, yes i may have been paying on my old bill but never did i open an account. Now they are on my credit report.

I have been receiving harrassing calls and when they call, I say, "I HOPE YOUR RECORDING THIS because i will not be paying you anything. I did not take a loan or credit out with you and you lied."

I received another call the other day, so today I called and they guy asked for my information so that he could pull up my record.  I told him NO however if he was recording that i would report this to the credit bureaus and that i do not owe them anything.

I am thinking because this is suppose to drop off soon that they are trying to get more money out of me. 

Any suggestions?
