Search Tips1 did gmac notify you about the sale if they did you had 30 day i belive to say yes or no if you didnt respond then your at fault here its in your mortgage contract find it and wave it in front of gmacs face if they didnt do it right, they did this to me several yr back and i called them on the carpet about it thye had to take the loan back
2 now call midland and say hey i havent received a payment book from you and i need to send in a payment get the address and send them one MAKE SURE YOU COPY THE LETTER YOU SEND TO THEM AND THE CHECK FOR YOUR RECORDS
also send them a certified letter stating you have no payment book and that you are sending them a payment PUT THE ACCOUNT NUMBER ON THE CHECK if they dont respond to this then start filing complaints the the gov agencys in your state
no one is stopping you from refinancing you have the right to shop around right now but with the crappy mortgage problems right now your going to find it real hard to get a new one try your own bank if you have one
AND A WORD OF WARNING from this point on make copies of each and every check you send in never ever miss one its your only recourse if something happens
these companies are nasty they dont care about you one bit you need to CYA
