Midway Industries Sent us 5 seperate orders of light bulbs we both did not order or can use over a 3 month period. Used the name of a 17 year old versus a purchase order # Cockeysville, Maryland

Midway Industries cold called our company and spoke with a 17 year old who receives and documents UPS deliveries. An package arrived shortly thereafter containing 25 bulbs.  He signed for it and brought the invoice to the accounting department. Since there was no indication on the invoice which department this was for and the fact that we have 6 different buildings, our accountant did not know which department to bill this to.  It took a few weeks to sort this out but in the mean time he paid the invoice.  Unfortunately, 3 more orders arrived over the next 2 months.  The worst part of this is that we do not use this kind of bulb for any current fixture. We contacted Midway and they will not accept any return the unopened boxes. The company admits that they had no previous contact with us. The 17 year old received a personal promotion in the mail from them.

We are taking action to resolve this matter.
