I have been a resident of Collin County my entire life and find these allegations very hard to believe.  Mr. Michael Curran has represented me and several of my family and friends on different occasions over the last 30 years and has been the most knowledgeable, honest and competent attorney I have ever known.  He is HIGHLY respected and Collin County as well of  all of North Texas. 
 
After reading this farfetched, bizarre allegation about Mike Curran, I did search Google for the two names Ms. Sherry Ellis Catching referenced in her complaint.  She stated, If you are wondering if this is true, you should call Geoffrey Sabik of Collin County or Joey Dauben of Ellis County.
Unfortunately, neither of these individuals could be reached.  Joseph (Joey) Dauben was arrested and indicted by the grand jury on three counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, and one count of indecency with a child, all second-degree felonies.
 
Geoffrey Sabik has a public record available on the Collin County Website which reveals he has been arrested several times, and there is also a psych evaluation on Mr. Sabik available.

Being a resident of Collin County, I do know of a woman named Sherry Ellis that Mr. Curran dated.  After ending their relationship, she became absolutely crazy and tried to kill him where he sustained injuries in his own home.  I believe this letter has been written by that same Sherry Ellis.  She is nothing more than an ex-girlfriend who is trying to seek revenge for him ending their relationship. 
 
Please take this into consideration when reading her complaint.  Michael Curran is a highly respected and honorable attorney.

Hi, Sherry Ellis.
Its been quite a while since we've last spoken, and i have no objections towards that fact. This is Carly, as you know, Mike's daughter. I am literally shaking because of how incredibly furious I am with you.
You know darn well how great my father treated you, he did nothing wrong. Do not complain and say that he tries to take people's children away from innocent people because you know the things you've done. Its not his fault that your kid wasn't able to properly use the restroom until the age of nine.
I'd like everyone to know the purpose of said Peace Bond. Most people would not feel all that comfortable around someone who has tried to kill them twice during one of their many episodes, which I have photographic evidence of, and would prefer them not to further interfere with their life and family.
Everyone is aware of your mental problems, and do not try to deny them. And also most people would not think that shoplifted gifts from Walmart are very pleasant.
Sherry, yes we used to get along, and I was ok with you until I found out who you really are. I am greatly offended that you would have the nerve to even think about writing this report. You know my dad is a great man and never did anything that wasn't the best for you and your sons. He was always there for you and you responded with threatening letters and lies, along with pathetic attempts at trying to get his friends to turn against him.
You may think you have the upperhand with your untrue insults, but you will never win. We have the truth on our side, and you will not further ruin and scar our lives and minds.
