My name is john. One day during this week..I get a knock on my door..they are offering a free carpet shampoo..my wife says no but I feel sorry for the kid and I let him in..me and my wife have been residence in oceanside for 23 years and never encounter such a distasteful sales and switch and bait before. The Hispanic kid comes in my house where I thought was a free cleaning from kirby vacumm cleaners..he spends 1 and a half hours trying to sell me this vacumm that I have no need for..after that time I get another knock on my door and his manager walks in..his name is mike frost..this guy was big and very intimidating. He told me I could live in my own filth or buy his vacumm..me and my wife are retired and are barely making it..our only daughter just pass from cancer a week ago..so we were financialy strapped..I told mike I couldn't buy it and at that point my wife was becoming scared..we asked him to leave with the nice young salesman but he kept intimidating us..at a point I was ready to call 911..but fortunately he left..when he left I asked for a business card and he left me with a pamplet, that had a company from Rancho cucomonga called Mad unlimited on him..I called the number and they deny having him work there..I don't know what this world is coming to when people like me and my wife out of the kindness of our hearts try to help people and get treated this way..I hope no one experiences the same as I did from this guy mike and his company Mad unlimited..if these people come to you..don't let them in..

Problem

I have a big problem with your report.  You said that you were barely making ends meet and you had no need for this vacuum, YET you let this guy in your house because you "felt sorry for him?"   In other words, you completely wasted his time on purpose. 

You invited him in your home and let him go through his entire sales presentation, even though there was no chance you were going to buy his product.  I just hope that you never "feel sorry" for me.

Hello John and Beth. Wow this must be a blessing. Do you know where this Mike Frost is? I've been looking for this guy over the last two years. He sold me an old Kirby vacuum Cleaner for 550 dollars and I used it one time and it broke. I was so upset because he promised me to come and fix it if it was broken. He left a disconnected phone number for me. I was dumb, too trustworthy, now I'm out of 550 dollars. I guess I should not be surprised, because it seems to me you both have had a bad experience with this guy. If you know any information can you email me at (((ROR redacted))) My email says it all, I'm a sucker, and I know it. I don't like to be doop. But if you have his where a bouts let me know. I just want my money back, or sue the company he works for to get it back. It seems to me he works for Mad unlimited out of Rancho Cucamonga? I'll probably try them first. I am sorry for what happened to you. I was naive and too trusting and this scam artist got away with it. For anyone that reads this, avoid this man. He's a con artist, and if companies hire him they must be foolish. Thank you Beth and John. Please let me know and keep in contact with me.

Mad Unlimited Mike Frost

Despite the apologies, the obvious truth is incidents like this happens all the time. Indivuduals like Mike Frost damage the Kirby reputation and hence destroy the very fabric of good businesses. I understand that this might be an isolated incident that occured, but nonetheless Beth experienced the same situation that I encountered. Am I making it up or trying to damage a company name? I'm a retired Army Ranger that loves my country and loves the American way and how we grow as a nation. I'm all for small businesses, because I used to own one. So the answer is No, I'm not trying to damage a business. I want individuals like Mike Frost and Companies he work for such as Mad Unlimited, to stop preying on hard working Americans like me and Beth. Criminals and Thugs like him should not be allowed to represent a historic company like the Kirby company. In this harsh world we live in, seniors like myself and Beth become silent victims, now its time to be heard. So Kirby relations, don't apologize for what has been done, Close down Mad Unlimited fire Mike Frost and individuals like him so that way the Kirby Company can reestablish a good name, and redeem yourself. Otherwise, more individuals will come forward and expose this travesty in the taking of advantage of senior citizens. Quite simply, if more people come forward with their outrage, eventually not only Mad Unlimited and Mike Frost will be held accountable, but also the Kirby Company. The relationship between a vendor/vendee is strictly independent, but nonetheless, the vendor(Kirby) should cut off any more sales to Mad Unlimited, which in turns provide products to individuals like Mike Frost.

To Beth, thank you for your story. It isn't a story we like to live or share but nonetheless, we have a common experience. Sad but so true! This company Mad Unlimited is a hub for criminals and substance users, their managers particularly Mr Frost is the worse one out there. No morals, no principle, no ethics. For a company to hire and harbor such individuals is a major travesty to good business through out America. I deeply, feel your pain Beth. My wife has been damaged mentally and emotionally by this. For anyone out there that has been abuse by this Frost character or the company Mad Unlimited he represents, please feel free to tell me your horror story and maybe justice will be served.

Frost same experience

Dear John, I am also retired. I had the same experience with this Mike Frost about one month ago. He came to my house and did a presentation for Kirby vacumm. I told him also I could not buy the product because My husband died Two years ago.He kept on insisting and scared me. I'm a resident in the Vista community. He told me he was independent and owned his own company. He really intimidated me and made me fearful of anyone in my door again.To this day, I don't answer my door for anyone. My condolences for your loss of your daughter. I never hope anyone will have to experience, what you and I experience. Seniors citizens like ourselves are easy for thugs like him and who he works for to prey upon.
