We puchased a new Ford Escape from this dealer.
1. We had a problem with the low tire pressure light staying on. Took it back and they said we had a nail in the tire. We paid to have it  fixed.
2. We had a problem with the low tire pressure light staying on. Took it back and they said the sensor was bad and they replaced it under warranty.
3. We had a problem with the low tire pressure light staying on. Took it back and they said the patch had failed.they replaced it under warranty.
4. We had a problem with the low tire pressure light staying on. Took it back and they said the patch had failed.but we would have to buy a new tire for $350.00. We said no. They wanted to bargain with us but we refused.
5. We left the dealership with a bad tire, traded the car with a reputable dealer and hope to forget Mike Shad, Orange Park,
Jacksonville, Florida. [continued below]....

We cant think of a reason for this dealership to be so lacking in honor when the problem we had was clearly a defect somewhere. All they had to do is stand by their work. The Service Manager apparently tought it was a better idea to try getting a few extra bucks from some dumb
old sucker.
He may now realize he was wrong, This dumb old sucker will fight back and insist on the service promised and implied.
Its difficult to buy a car, new or used. When you select a dealer we suggest looking at the records. In this case we will send a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Although they cant apply any kind of a sanction, they can see the details of a problem.
Hope this helps you select Ford dealers. See the other problems we had with this dealership.
