Members of the public and Dr./Mrs. Obeng:

I just learned about this posting by Mrs. Obeng which bothered me very much. It is with much disappointment and dismay that I find myself responding to a ridiculous internet defamatory article (Baseless blog articles are usually and very often written by people who have made nothing of their own life and wish to destroy others by defamation to get some gratification).

It is generally not in my nature to stoop low enough to get into this kind of exchange but my attorney advised me that it is necessary that I address the defamatory, baseless damaging claims of Mrs. Obeng who has found in herself an ability to use our "WILD_WILD WEST OF CYBERSPACE" to Bully and Defame people for personal gain.

It is exactly this type of unprofessional misconduct that has caused hundreds of people to die (mostly through suicide) and continues to devastate an entire population of people.

It is true that there is a Civil Matter involving Dr. Obeng for breach of written contract, conversion (theft), fraud and defamation. This is best to be handled by attorneys. However, for Mrs. Obeng to use the opportunity to scapegoat me in order to excuse the Ripoff Articles written about her husband is unacceptable.

Dr. Obeng entered into a written contract after getting advice from many of his consultants and attorneys and took possession of hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of goods. He also benefited from hundreds of hours of consultation services and then after all of the benefits were enjoyed, his wife decided to call the police to make a baseless claim. I was not even in the space when police arrived and based on the written, signed contract i had every right to be there anyways. For her to make this defamatory claim that there was any basis for the getto-technique of calling the police for personal financial reasons is absurd. Anyhow, the issue had no merit and the police left anyways. This issue will be resolved through the court system and it is a civil issue which does not need to be addressed publicly.

Secondly, using the issue of my license to hurt me both personally and professionally is another obvious cyberspace-bullying effort on the part of Mrs. Obeng. It has no place to be addressed here, but suffice it to say that the claims are all just that "claims". As we see with Mrs. Obeng's case, anyone can make any baseless claim at any time. Claims needs to be substantiated and proven with facts. That has its own legal methodology and internet blogs are not the appropriate venue.

As far as Mrs. Obeng, I am not sure why she does not seek the advice of a professional before engaging into massively destructive activities that will only hurt herself and others. But again, that is not something I care to address any further and just wish her and her family well.

In the meanwhile; my attorney has advised me to reiterate to the Obengs that should they have any issues with me to please use the proper legal avenues and seize & desist in any further engagement in defamation and cyber-bullying. My attorney is in communication with Dr. Obeng and he can have his attorney contact mine.

In your libelous rebuttal you have accused me of writing this report.  While this post maybe a hurtful report to you; what is completely false and inflammatory is your allegations as to who wrote them. By scapegoating me you can't attempt to clear the name and clear this report and all other reports about MiKO Plastic Surgery and Dr. Michael K. Obeng as well!!!!!

This is a baseless inflammatory, defamatory & libelous claim for which you will additionally be held accountable. You will eventually learn that as a wife of a professional your actions will have tremendous impact on your spouse. I suggest you quickly take control of yourself and stop this public embarrassment and mud wrestling. It will do nothing but continue to hurt everyone involved.

It is quite artful how you attempted to use this Rip-Off Report for your marketing purposes. Congratulations to you. However, please do not hurt an innocent standbyer who you thought would sit quiet and let you abuse him for your own benefit. I have no interest in being victimized. Please seize and desist from defaming me.

This post is a hurtful and completely FALSE! This report and all other reports about MiKO Plastic Surgery and Dr. Michael K. Obeng are as well.

I am Veronica Obeng.  I am marrried to Dr. Obeng. We know who posted this inflamatory and false posting in an attempt to damage my husband's name and reputation.  It is sad and should be unlawful that this site then charges thousands of dollars to have slanderous and false postings removed.

A Dr. Shane Davidson aka, Shane Shabani, aka, Daniel Shane Shabani--etc etc, is a medical doctor whose license has been suspended by the California Board of Medicine. When this doctor met my husband Dr. Obeng, he saw an easy mark.  He attempted to scam and con my family, and after a few quick google searches we were horrified to learn we were his next target. 

We had to contact Beverly Hills Police department at one point to have him removed from our property. This can be verified with the police as well as the subsequent reports concerning Dr. Shaboni.  Sadly, the police are all to familiar with him due to his criminal behavior. 

I urge members of the public to understand our families outrage and sadness.  This report is obviously so based in hate and lies.  Nonetheless, we refuse to be extorted by this site and the 10's of companies that email us daily- trying to sell us removal packages.  Lies are big money on this site. 

My husband Michael is a truly loving and loyal man. He has over come so much adversity from poverty in Africa, to starting his own foundation to give back to so many.  His work with RESTORE WorldWide has touched so many, many lives.  For someone to make a mockary of his passion and hard work is beyond grotesque.
