The person David Sholem is a made up name and he is not even Jewish.  His response to a lost package is over the top and not the Jewish way to handle this ... David Sholem is a person spreading rumors.  Look at his point: his card was immediately charge.  Yes, he credit card should be charge. He never got the tracking number -- really?  Notice that David Sholem didn't leave a contact number but the company did ... I actually called them to get there side.  Shame on Sholem - where is the peace?

AND...

AUTHOR: voiceofreason - (United States of America)

Before you (Misteh Sholem) point out my bad Yiddish/Hebrew/Whatever again, I meant rachmanos, not rachamim.
But then again, you probably never learned about rachmanos, or chesed for that matter.

Blow it out your tuchus

AUTHOR: voiceofreason - (United States of America)

Listen, Bub (or Bubbie as it were), y'all posted in a public forum and as part of the public, I'll comment as I see fit, wherever and whenever I choose to.

GOT IT, my kipah krowned kook?

You were, in the end, treated more than fairly by your "mishpucha".

The least you could do, as a fellow traveler supposedly imbued with at least a hint of "chesed" and "rachamim", is to graciously acknowledge that this business did right by you in the end, and let the case be closed.

You come off as a typical Bible Belting hypocrite.

To try and destroy this business over a lost post office box is disgusting.

And NO, before you play that hoary old card, I do not work for Mile Chai, have never been to Colorado, and do not wear anything on my head except when it rains.

Where did they rip you off ?

AUTHOR: wajb101 - (United States of America)

after just happening to find this article I'm sad to see a jew talk bad about another jew.If you got a refund how did they rip you off? you claim to be some high and mighty yid, yet you have no problem talking bad about another person. i hope you don't talk to your mother that way. it sounds like these people did you right, and you are just out to ruin these good peoples name. i bet your a hard person to please and i would hate to have to deal with you if i was retail. you sure are a horrible customer.

Unsolicited Commentator

You know neither of the case, nor the circumstances and although your fallen Yiddish does not impress me in any way, I suggest that you find another website to play your games.

When I do business with Mishpocha, I expect the utmost sincerity, when I receive an unsolicted comment such as your with no basis whatsoever, I assume that you either have fallen or of another family!

I will no longer respond in this format.

Mea culpa, sort of

AUTHOR: voiceofreason - (United States of America)

My first post crossed paths with Mr Sholem's update, and was written before that appeared.

That said, it still doesn't appear he gave this business a fair shake.

Other than express mail, most parcel post mailed packages are untraceable, without tracking numbers. Depends how it was mailed.

These folks in the end gave him the stuff for free and took the hit on the shipping too. I think maybe merchants ought to view orders from this customer with caution. Not denigrating his honesty, but his rush to judgment.

Oy Vey, Misteh Sholem! Vus machstah!

AUTHOR: voiceofreason - (United States of America)

To the trigger happy customer. Did you even try to find out from the seller what happened to the shipment before y'all blasted him on this site?
From your extremely short post, it doesn't appear you gave them any notice that you didn't get your stuff.
Sounds like you did them dirty.
At least confirm whether or not they did make you whole as they stated.

Events as Stated by Company Owner False

AUTHOR: DavidSholem - (USA)

There was never a first package sent, for this was verified by PO. What I did receive after initiating a BBB Complaint, was an item that I ordered and an item I did not order that was for a young child.

Although I received a reimbursement from this company, however, their tactics of presenting falsehoods continues - The reason why they did not mail the first item as they indicated they did, is that in the BBB Report, they reflected that they were waiting for item from Israel - So, how could they have shipped it and then blamed the PO (no tracking number ever provided to me)?

My contention is that I would use the utmost caution when dealing with a company as this -

#10 REBUTTAL Owner of company

David Sholem

AUTHOR: Aharon - (United States of America)

Mr. Sholem's order was lost by the Post Office.  As soon as we were made aware of this we reshipped his order through UPS.  We also refunded "all" money paid for the product as well as shipping and handling.

Not only did he receive two kippot, he was refunded all money --  UPS confirms he did receive his order -- what more can we do?
