I placed an order using a Groupon on April 14, 2012. After a few weeks, I received an email from Laura stating that the business was new and that the Groupon offer was larger than they had anticipated, but that the company was working diligently to get the orders processed. I appreciated the update and waited patiently. On May 22, 2012 I received a second email from Laura stating the following:

"Good Morning,
We are still madly at work shipping orders - approximately 200-300 per day. I know this is not ideal but please know your order is VERY important to us and we will ship it as quickly as we are able. I wish I could follow up with all of you personally, but this is impossible.
Based on current projections, all of our orders will be caught up by June 15th. ********Additionally, we
received an e-mail from Groupon that they are involved in a class action suit regarding expiration dates of Groupon coupons. In case you are interested, our policy has been and will remain that we will honor a Groupon coupon at any time, even after expiration. I know some of you may have more than one coupon you are planning to use in the future.
Thanks again for your continuous support! Oh yes, and in order to remain focused on orders in the immediate future, we are not currently posting new recipes to our recipe blog, Twitter or Facebook. Stay tuned though, as soon as we get through this we'll have lots of yummy recipe  ideas to share!"

On July 15th, I emailed the company stating that 3 months was unacceptable and when would my order be shipped out. I was emailed and was told my my order would be shipped out by that following Wednesday and that I would get an email with a tracking number. It's August 2nd and ... No email, no product and no refund. I sent 2 emails demanding my refund and have not heard anything back from this company.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. While it may be a new business, I find that they did not properly plan for an over abundance of Groupon purchases and I hold them 100% accountable. I will be the first person to say that I don't know how businesses interact with Groupon, but I am aware that limits can be set...Milford Spice Company did not set a limit and in my eyes, that is perceived as greed.

Shame on you Milford Spice Company for giving yourself the reputation of a greedy, money hungry and non-customer service focused company.
