I, too, was duped by Milford Spice. I had read the reviews and also read about how the product they sell is good, so I went ahead and decided to take a chance. I knew of their prior failure to get the product out in a timely manner (expect a few months after the 10-14 day period they request) and the emails with excuses from the company's owner. "We had way higher of a volume than we expected, there is only two of us that work for the company, blah blah blah."
So, I thought I'd be smart and order the day I bought my Groupon thinking they would be more on top of things this time, despite the horrible reviews from the last Groupon they offered. Boy was I wrong! I'm still waiting for my order. Furthermore, I have been diligent about calling to follow up (which I feel I shouldn't have to do). First, they told me they were waiting for the rosemary I had ordered (and incidentally, THEY should have been the ones letting me know about the backorder...not me inquiring to find out).
So, I requested they go ahead and send the 2 grilling classic combos I ordered and send the rosemary when it arrived. They agreed and told me they would get my grilling classics in the mail tomorrow. A week later, I still hadn't received it, prompting another call to them....only to find out they had NEVER shipped the grilling combos to begin with! So, I called again. This time the rosemary was in, but I had to call to get them to move on getting my order to me. This was last Friday and I'm still waiting for my order (5 days later).
Unbelievable. And, the most recent email I got was tonight with more sob stories about how there are only 2 employees...but I happened to be going back through my correspondence from them and noticed another older sob story from 2 weeks ago where they said they had hired 4 more people to remedy the problem. So, not only are they ripping people off, they are also liars! Do not do business with them...no matter how good the product.
