about over a year ago I made the mistake of having momence bottle gas located in momence illinois be my propane gas provider.in the short time that I had them it did not take me long to experience a very poor/unprofessional attitude in regards to payment details/so forth, I phoned them at one occasion asking if I could drop off the payment and they told me yes and when I asked what time they closed (because I get off work after 5:00pm and have to travel 50+ miles to get there)they told me they close at 5:00,I had arrived at approximatly 4:46pm that day and they were already closed,so I had to drive back home which was another 20 miles, the next day I phoned them again and asked why they closed so soon and the lady at the service desk got real rude with me saying "we work on our terms not yours" and I told her I had enough with her attitude and will be looking for someone else,a few days later they were replaced by ashland propane,I later phoned momence bottle gas (and they were closed again)left message to pick up their tank on my property and I gave them the hours I would be home(because my brother was dropping off his car for repair and cant walk far due to his emphesema and had to leave the car in driveway)when I came home that day I found that my lawn was tore up with truck tire tracks (because the A-hole went around my brothers car over the embankment to get his tank) and literally destroying my lawn in the process,I called police and filed a report. when I visited momencce bottle gas early the next morning(I took a day off from work ) and slapped down on the counter the pictures I took of the damage done by their truck/negligence, and asked why the hell didnt they get in contact with me first to arrange pickup of their tank, the owner "ron barker"which was the driver of the truck told me it didnt work with THEIR schedule and that he was not paying for the damage either,I told him "we ll see about that. since then he (ron barker) has ruined my reputation with ashland propane by saying I still owed them a bill (that I had paid a long time ago and have a reciept for) and saying Im a deadbeat customer to the degree that I had to get another provider(because they no longer wanted to do business with me) and the next replacement was hicksgas of kanakakee and still that A-hole (ron barker)tried to destroy my reputation there too,luckily the owner of hicksgas already knew about momence bottle gas by another customer that had been harassed the same way,I think momence bottle gas is the most HORRIBLE/piss poor business I had ever seen and that scumbag ron barker should be out of business,PERIOD!!
