I ordered a free trial product from Momentum Direct in December 2007 which I paid for shipping and handling of the product. The product finally came mid January, and I used it. This was in January of 2008. I contacted the company and considered buying more of the product. I paid through a direct share draft online from my checking account in the amount of $149.85 thinking that I would get the product and the other product that I ordered from them. The order never was delivered. I called the company and also wrote them an e-mail note in February of 2008 requesting status or a full refund. After calling Momentum Direct my checking account was share drafted again 6 days later. I called Momentum Direct again with my complaint and requested a full refund of the money they had taken without my permission. At that time their customer service representative told me that I would be getting a total refund within 2 to 3 weeks. Which I never received!!! Then a couple weeks into March 2008 I contacted them and told them that I was contacting the BBB and wanted my refund immediately. Instead of refunding they again on 3/11/2008 share drafted my account in the amount of $176.79, I again calld them and they stated that they were going to refund my money again, but instead they share drafted my account in the amount of $176.79 on 03/31/2008. I called Momentum Direct and told them that I had moved to TX from OR and demand my refund and told them how upset I was for them dipping illegally into my account once again. The customer service representative stated again that it would take 2 to 3 weeks to process my request and I would be receiving a full refund. Again this company on 04/02/2008 dipped another $176.79 out of my checking account as a share draft. I am now out a total of $680.22 of my hard earned money. I am just besides myself that a company can do this to someone and people just sit back and do nothing. Especially OnPoint Credit Union in Milwaukie, Oregon. Today, I spend most of my day trying to close my account with the bank and have my money transferred to another bank, the bank placed my funds on hold. I must have this black cloud over my head, it's just not right how customers are treated. Please I beg you, do not do business with Momentum Direct or OnPoint Credit Union. Your money is not safe at either location!!!!!
