Moneris Solutions is a merchant supplier for collecting monies from debit, and credit card users for businesses. Moneris is great at collecting money, but when it comes to settling and depositing money in the businesses they collect for, well that is another story. They are also great at marketing, but they are sure brutal in the customer service area!

And if you have the misfortune to call their customer service, you have to abid by a service standard of five business days to get your issue resolved minimum. And that is only if they like you. Of course they never let you know what is going on.

Furthermore, if you have a dispute with them, the onus is on the business (you) to show that they are wrong. They won't do anything unless it is proven to them that they made an error.

My business collected over $5,000 in Visa's and debit transactions, and in three weeks I had only $350 deposited back to me. While we are likely on our way to court shortly, I think a fair characterization of Moneris is "The Bloor Street Bullies - They Take Your Money and Run!"
