Monique Michelle Matthews Fraudulent Breeder - Sells Sick Dogs & Hides Dogs True Origins Arcadia, California

My wife and I bought a 8 wk old Boston Terrier pup from "Michelle Matthews" at her home on 8th St in Arcadia, CA.  The pup died later that evening from a seizure.  We returned the pup and were given a replacement a few days later that Michelle claimed to have found from a "breeder friend".  The new pup became ill several weeks later and was diagnosed with giardia.  She also had incontinence issues that never went away.  We took the dog to a vet who noticed immediately that the pup did not have a properly formed anus, which caused her to poop involuntarily, even while asleep.  Michelle refused to tell us where she obtained the pup and only gave us the run around.  I contacted the dog registry, who helped me get in contact with the real breeder, which was in Missouri!  They were very helpful and told me that Michelle contacted them 3 days after receiving the pup to inform them that the dog did not have a proper anus and she had vet papers to prove it.  She sent the papers to Missouri and was issued a refund.  Before the refund check even arrived, she sold the pup to my wife and I.  The credit card charge she made for the puppy read, "Elite Board Shops".  This appears to be a front as we are working to dispute the charge with the credit card company and are beginning to pursue the issue with AKC, USDA, the District Attorney's Office, several news media outlets, etc.  We have obtained evidence of Michelle's knowledge of the dogs issue and purchase from the kennel in Missouri and can't wait for our chance to see her in court!  The kennel owners have even volunteered to help us and testify to their local authorities and even come out to California for her day in court.  Several similar stories of deception and fraud regarding this woman can be found if you search the net.  Her address and phone number are most helpful since she has used many aliases in her dealings.  Anyone who would like to assist or join in our fight is welcome.  We will win.
