Actually the wording is add $17 for synthetic BLEND or high mileage oil. If your car requires FULL synthetic oil such as 0w-20 for example current price is 82.99 some markets have lower "sale" prices. This is not bait and switch it is the consumer not being educated on their car and throwing blame on the repair shop for them getting told an unpleasant truth. If they had used the cheaper oil and you had engine damage your warranty both from manufacturer and for issues directly linked to Monro would be all on you.

The facts that you replied with in your comments are not facts. They are your opinion. Please learn the difference.

There is no dispute about what was offered. What was listed on the coupon and what was presented as FACT by Monro Muffler/Brake & Service was a clear bait and switch tactic that needs to be advertised. For future users of Monro's Service I would suggest you call, like I did, set the appointment for the service, confirm it's a coupon they honor, and

RECORD THE CONVERSATION to play in a class action or false advertising lawsuit. That is what would be coming next if it mattered a hoot to me about their business. Perhaps the name of the company should be edited to Monro Muffler/Brake & DIS-Service?

Tax is pretty much added to anything you don't eat.  A shop fee because you are using supply's  not covered in the 5 quart conventional oil change package. If your vehicle uses more then 5 quarts of oil that's added on. I know for a fact you can not get a 5 quart  full synthetic oil change done at any reputable shop in wooster with the service you get at Monro for less  Valvoline instant oil change for 5 quart with filter nothing else is 69.99 before tax and fees without any other service (such as tire rotation included in Monro s )
