First let me advise you that the owner Morgan is suing AIG for $20 million during a bailout. Please dont rent at Brookmont the conditions at the complex are unsafe. The units are old and in dire need of repair and replacement. The heaters AC are old and do not work properly. Soot from carbon lines the outside walls under the heater vent. Apartment is full of dust in the vents that is unhealthy. Management is rude and slow to resolve issues. Manager is not in office when she should be working, or hiding in the office so she doesnt have to address problems. Manager lies about the rent and what utilities are to be paid. In the lease it does not state that water/trash is not included. Without a meter you will be billed for filling the pool and the washer in the landry room. Mice show up from time to time and never really get exterminated. You will never get your entire deposit back they will always bill you for new rugs even if they were old to begin with. If you fall behind in your rent due to job loss, job cut backs or major illness they will evicted you. Manager will never work with you. She may lie about the court case even if you pay the back rent off. Her lawyer will still appear in court. My neighbor had a heart attack and she has a baby, she was evicted as she laid in the hospital bed! Illegal business practices and Bate and Switch are common place in this mangement company. There is need of a class action lawsuit to be filed. High evictions rate in this complex, rent increases of $120 a year plus the high utilities. Think twice before you sign on the bottom line..view the apartment that you will be living in. They need to be SUED that will stop them before they Ruin your credit and life!
