I am getting married in Charleston, SC on March 29, 2007. Me and my FI wanted to send out announcements to those who didnt hear of our nuptuals from word of mouth, since we decided to have such a small destination wedding.

We went to MPB (Morgantown Printing and Binding) to pick out announcements to send to family and friends. We picked out the design we wanted and we told the employer that we were on a tight budget (we wanted to keep our purchase under $100) so we picked out a nice design that stated it was in our price range. THEN she pulled out her calculator and added all these 'hidden' fees for different type setting, taxes, her commission fee, etc. By this time, we were well over our budget, but we had decided to purchase the announcements anyway.

The employer, her name is Lilian Seneff by the way, stated that I would be emailed a proof of our announcement the following tuesday. I waited until thursday before calling and asking why I hadnt received my proof. She stated "I didnt have enough time to call you, but your design has been discontinued, you have to come in and pick out a new one." I was very upset at this point, since I was supposed to have a proof two days ago, and I had to call her to find out my design was discontinued (I guess I just figured she would call me if she had a problem) She then asked me if she wanted them to print up the design with NO raised lettering and it MAY or MAY NOT cost less than our original. I told her I'd talk to my FI and get back to her.

So my FI called her and told her we wanted raised lettering (I personally think the other looks tacky, esp for weddings) so we were told we had to come back in and do everything over. We were offered nothing for our trouble, so we asked for our money back (and got it) and went elsewhere. However, our announcements will now be delievered FAR after our wedding date, which is kind of upsetting.

Moral of the story is, dont do business with MPB, especially for important invitations! They have no sense of time and are also very rude to customers.

This was one customers experience over five years ago. MPB expressed sincere apologies for the inconvenience. MPB prides itself on customer service and strives for perfection every day. We provide printing, mailing, fulfillment, signage and a vast array of services to numerous organizations throughout West Virginia. This attack is unwarranted and undeserved. This is the first complaint in our 100+ years of service to West Virginia.

To set the record straight, Lillian Seneff is a fine Customer Service Representative and continues to pay strict attention to detail. Her customers know their jobs will be done right and handled in a professional matter.
