I placed an order with this so called company on June 1st, 2009, they offered free 1-3 day shipping, when I placed the order it showed that all the items were in stock and that the order should arrive by June 10th, 2009. I needed the order to arrive before today, June 12, 2009, so I decided to pay $5.99 more to upgrade to 2 day shipping. I didn't want to risk not receiving it.
I kept on checking on my order status, and noticed on Friday, June 5th 2009 that one of the items was being out of stock and was being ordered. I didn't think much of it and let it go. On Tuesday June 9th, 8 days after I had placed the order, I checked again and noticed that it was still pending. On Wednesday June 10th, it said that it was ready to be shipped.
I called customer service to make sure I would receive the order by Friday, and the lady that answered assured me that I would, that the order might had been shipped already, but that they had not updated the system yet, she advised me to keep on checking on the site to make sure it got updated and I got a tracking number. By the end of the day it stilled showed pending, I called back and they said it had not been shipped yet, that I might receive it on Friday or Monday the latest, I told them I needed the order by Friday and they told me I could upgrade to an overnight shipping and that way I Might get my order by Friday.
I asked if that was for sure and they told me they could not guarantee anything. I asked about cancelling my order and they said it was too late because it was ready to be shipped, they once again suggested I upgrade to the overnight shipping and if I didn't get it on Friday, I could refuse the package, it would get shipped back to them and once they got it they would refund my money, minus shipping. I refused to pay, it was not my fault, and they said I couldn't do anything, but wait.
Thursday, June 11th, I was unable to check status.
Today, June 12, 2009, 11 days after I placed the order and 4 days after it said it was ready to be shipped, I checked status, and to my surprise I found out it has not been shipped, and it is not showing ready to be shipped status anymore, instead it shows that everything is in stock, except for one item that is being ordered.
I called customer service to check what's happening and a lady with a very rude attitude told me it showed that they were waiting for one item and then it would be shipped, I explained the situation and when I asked about cancelling the order she said: I'll go ahead and do that and hanged up on me.
I called back asking to speak to a supervisor and after 5 minutes of holding was told that the supervisor was on the line, I asked to be put on hold, and 5 minutes later was told that all supervisors were on a meeting, after being told one of them was on the other line. They took down my name and number and was told they would call me back, or that I could also e-mail my complain. I will send an e-mail and also call back to see what happens.
Now I had placed the order, to send the items to Colombia, with my aunt, they were uniforms I had bought for my nephew. My aunt is leaving tonight and my nephew who's 10 years old and is anxiously waiting for the uniforms, will be left with nothing, no presents or anything. Try to explain a 10 year old that his uniforms are not arriving, and he has to run with old ripped uniforms and use the knee guard that cause him fungus, because they are so old, only because an incompetent online store did not deliver them
