What a surprise to finds the no refund and lack off customer service in a service industry such as MTC. 

Really seems instructor has lost his ability and focus on what he's there for . Not throwing out insults and opinions but to instruct. Waste of money and more important time - I value my weekends. 

I was - removed from class - told unsafe - no drops , no collisions , no behavior others didn't exhibit. Opinionated instructor has the power to determine what is going to be removed. 

Id call this a rip off . Would not recommend or suggest using MTC. There are multiple schools in close proximity to Rosenberg that have more objective and professional instructors. 10 miles away in Sugarland

We at MTC take all customer complaints seriously.  We listen to our customers. We try to understand their complaint and how they feel they have not been served well. Then we talk to the instructor of their class. If warranted, we may contact other students from the class and ask them about the incident. 

If we feel that MTC has not been fair and not provided what we promised we will correct the problem and make it right for the customer. We have in the past and will continue to do this for all incidents of this nature.

Having said this, please remember that this is not a class at school or a class to learn to play the guitar. This is a motorcycle training class. There will be several people, on running motorcycles, learning to ride. This (as with all things in life) does involve some risk.

The instructor’s primary responsibility, before customer service, before teaching people to ride a motorcycle, is SAFETY! This customer never dropped the bike and never had any collisions. This is the best time for us to counsel him out of the class. Would he have been happier if he had dropped the bike a few times? Maybe hurt himself or someone else before he was counseled out of the class?

Our instructors go through a lot of training with MTC. They also go through training and certification from TX DPS and the MSF. Only then can they teach classes. The instructor in this class has been teaching for many years and has taught thousands of students. This class is a building block learning experience. If the instructor notices behavior or lack of skill development now, that he knows there is a high chance of causing an accident in the next exercises, he needs to take action. He can work with the student to try to bring up his level of skill. (He did spend extra time with this student before dismissing him) and/or he can counsel the student out of the class (preferably before anyone gets hurt).

All of our instructors care about helping their students get started safely in motorcycling and get licensed and ride legally. They never want to dismiss a student. They will go out of their way to make all students successful in our classes. Some people are not cut out to ride motorcycles and it is best to find that out in a safety class and not on the highway. Some people can be successful but it may take more then one 15 hour training class.

MTC has approximately a 96% passing rate on out Basic Rider Course. I think this speaks for itself. MTC has been awarded the training sponsor of the year award multiple times. However, we can not pass everyone. If we provide the training and the opportunity to learn we must charge a fair price for that service. Our profit margins are low. If we gave refunds to everyone who did not pass the class or did not show up for class we would not be able to pay our instructors, maintain our bikes, pay our insurance… etc. You get the picture.
