To whom it may concern:

It seems like everytime I buy a Motorola product the phone is broken.  Motorola does not solve issues with their phones which means the older ones have the same problems as the newer ones.

About 2 years ago I had an droid X and the volume buttons never worked during calls.  If the phone was to my ear I actually had to put it away from my ear to get the phone to work.  There were also other problems with the phone and Motorola wanted me to send the phone into repair but since this was a manufacture problem they would not send me out anothere phone.  I needed that phone for business.

My next phone was a thunderbolt I did not have one problem with that execpt for some screen issue which I needed a screen lock

Now comes the complaint at hand.  I fell in love with Motorola's newer products the droid Razr.  (we are talking 2 years later.  this phone has the same problem as the droid X the volume button still does not work if I have the phone to my ear more than 10-20 sec.  The only way to change the volume is to pull the phone away from my ear or push the power button.  Not only that the hotspot feature does not work, if you go to https websites it won't go such as yahoomail or hotmail, and last but not least the Visual Voice mail volume button does not work at all when the phone is to the ear.

I have tired this out on all the phones in the Verizon store and they are all that way.  Motorola has had this problem for years and they refuse to do anything about it.  I have written to them and they won't get back to you, when you call Tech support they say they don't know anything about it and it's really impossable to get any justice with this company.

Howcome is this company allowed to cell broken phones?
