this company claims to represent major insurance companies. i was hired as a partime field rep. to do physical surveys and internet reports. the date that I was officially told by company that a manager would call me and to guide me did not happen. no call nor contact. when he contacted me, his excuse was that he was on vacation. in the meantime i was working actually full time for this company without a manager on my own in washington pa. when he, Greg Erikson, did finally contact me, i wish he had not. he was verbially a bully and i literally did not sleep at nights for fear of him. this company which i was told represents allstate, nationwide, usaa, and other insurance companies is hard to believe. they do not communicate, and if you want speak with a higher up to address bullying by my manager they do not have any other departments. Is this a real company ? it is unfortunate if they actually do business with these insurance companies if true. Major bullying and fear. in addition, i was interviewed by this company, mueller services, prior to my employ. I was asked what territories in which i was willing to work. i was very clear, however, the bullying manager threatened me when he said i was hired to perform work in other territories that were not agreed to on the intial acceptance of this job. I worked full time for basically no money as a "sneak". Just horrible to deal with this manager and the company. If anyone sees an advertisement to be hired as a field rep for mueller services, inc., run--do not put yourselves in adishonest and bullying workplace. It is not professional, not really part time, and absolutely horrendous.

Hello-
I recently applied for an inspector position for this company, which I would be working in the NW Indiana area.
I received a email telling me to call this number 888-876-0414 and was told I have an over the phone interview.
I called this number, spoke with a rep and was asked "do you climb on roof tops"? I said no. My comments
were: What type of long or short term insurance do you carry? What life insurance policies do you carry? For
$10.00 an hour, the inspector is required to climb on roof tops, risk injury to which they DO NOT cover. Needless
to say, I did not get the job for asking those questions. An email said "we do not have any opportunities for you,
at this time".
I would say, pay the employee cheap, risk injury and NO expense to them and save the funds so we can get
rich, quick! What a company.....MUELLER INSURANCE SERVICES....what a rip! Their number:
888-876-0414.

Plain and Simple: I was assigned territories offered and agreed upon during hiring process. Mueller was in non-compliance. I would not have accepted this part-time job offer had I known that this was not true. I then received assignments, and I accepted those counties that I agreed to mutually when I accepted the position. I did not accept those areas that were not those agreed upon. I was subsequently informed by Erikson that " this was not why you were hired", and I reminded him that these were not the agreed upon counties. He threatened loss of my job if I did not do these outer counties not agreed upon during interview. Regardless of what Erikson conveys, this is cut and dry. He was cruel and severely unsupportive from then on. I have had him on speakerphone with my family and employees whom cannot believe his pessimistic attitude and particularly the undermining of the integrity of my interview. I have another business and did that via Skype etc. through Washington, PA. This was part-time which is why I told Mueller I would work for them if I only had the specific areas, those of which were in immediate need. They agreed.
He was unprofessional and scary to say the least. He is a bully, dishonest, manipulative and has made me a victim of slander from one of his reps/employees. This is a very small person.
For the record, it is interesting to hear from one of Erikson's people, that I should have pursued the HR dept. at Mueller. As all know, you CANNOT be connected to anyone but your manager. It is either out of sheer laziness from these receptionists or, well, another agenda, for always saying that they are instructed to give you the manager's machine service and no one else. As all of my family, friends and employees are aware, I tried to get to HR or anyone else at least 20 times.
I am currently in Florida where I run my business daily from an office, but also work part-time for another subcontractor for an insurance company Inspecting and Reporting. This sub company is reliable, supportive, professional, and has integrity. And, there is no bullying. I am very please to know that there are people of good and normal character at other places involved in the insurance reporting business.

I worked for this company in 2011 and only wish I could still be working with them. I moved to another location and could not transfer. I received great training, had a great relationship with my manager, and the company was patient with me as I went through the learning curve.
Hard to believe he was not contacted by a manager and worked alone because the first couple of reports you submit are never complete - and SOMEONE would have gotten back to him so he can rectify the report. Mueller is a great company.

I'm sorry you had such an awful time with your Manager. I agree with Mr. Dunbar when he said you should have gone to Human Resources. They would have assisted you and possibly reassigned you to another Manager.
I've been with them for over a year now and I LOVE my job. I've always found pretty much everyone to be polite and customer oriented. I'm hoping that your Manager is no longer with the company because that is not what the company wants to reflect.
I would suggest perhaps contacting HR and letting them know what happened to you.
Best of luck.

Greg Erikson, employed by Mueller Services, Inc., bullied me in the workplace, and will not retort to this accusation personally. I am a Florida State Certified General Contractor with a Bachelor's degree as well. I have never been mistreated by anyone in this way.

Greetings sir,
I am very sorry you had such a bad experience with this company. I agree that the company is very hands off, so it takes a special person to work for it. The web site you use to log in and do your survey work has contact links, you should have contacted HR or even customer service to file a complaint. The people I have dealt with are courteous and professional, but do expect you to be able to work on your own. If you would rather watch TV and drink a beer than do your work, then this is not the company for you, you need a Supervisor who will monitor you in a closed environment (usually cubicle-ville) and keep you on track. However, if you have the maturity to "work first, play later" and pay attention to details, this can be a very rewarding company to work for.
Lastly, although I feel it is petty, I think it also necessary to point out that this is not a text message. If you expect people to take your post seriously, for the love of mike, use a spell check! Read over your post and make corrections to grammar, capitalize the "I" and at least pretend you graduated high school. If this is how you submitted your reports, I am surprised you were even paid if you were submitting text in such an unprofessional format.
