I responded and received an e-mail with a link to do a qualification quiz. I completed the quiz and then received anothe e-mail to call for a telephone interview, which I completed.
Three days later I received another e-mail stating that they did not have any positions that meet my qualifications and reapply in 6 months
I called the HR department and their response was that they do not comment on a persons hiring.
I think that they may discriminate on age due to the fact thet I am 74 years of age.
I was hired by the US Government 2 years ago to do the census and received wonderful comments on the work I was doing and continued through three more cycles of the census.

Age discrimination?

I don't see where your age mattered.
You gave absolutely no reason for this accusation. Is any company that doesn't hire you guilty of age discrimination? Are you such an amazing individual that there could be no other reason?
Perhaps you presented yourself (as you did here) as someone who shows poor judgement and jumps to conclusions that are not warranted by the facts. This is an important quality in the insurance business and one that you seem to lack.
