They got a hold of one of our partners who is 77 years old. He does not understand the ad business or internet. Exactly the kind of people like are looking for. He paid them around $500 for some bogus "ads" , a year later after looking at every analytics program and referral log they have sent us exactly 0 visitors.
Moral of the story, if someone calls YOU to sell YOU ads. Its a scam. Thats why Google, Microsoft, Facebook etc don't call people. People go to them b/c they know its legit.
Look this firm up, countless ripoff reports/ Total scam and trash business. They hire the bottom of the barrel people of this world. People that have to go home from work KNOWING they stole money from people. This is a crime and management team should be jailed.

Immoral and Unethical Employees

The employees that work there are largely poor, bottom feeders, and are part of a drug culture that typically involves them being broke immediately after their low paycheck. The bottom feeders that work for this company, are led by better bottom feeders with intent to lie to the customer about what they get, and not being truthful about their services.
Multiviews agenda is to deceive the customer about a service they have to pay for to get nothing from it.
-------A TRUE RIP OFF AND SCAM!!!-----------

The previous post could not be more correct. I will add that any professional marketer that doesn't see value in being at least listed in a LEGITIMATE directory that is linked directly from an associations homepage- should not be in a marketing role at all. The simple website SEO benefits make it worthwhile to invest a few hundred dollars a year. It is the companies who do the bear minimum, avoid phone calls for upgrades, and thinks a listing will triple their business who are the so called "idiots". You would be surprised by the amount of companies that claim to get nothing who show up on the 3rd and 4th pages of their most competitive categories....yet they wont spend a bit extra to have a better placement within the guide.
I have worked for this company for almost 2 years, and yes we are far from perfect. However, there are very smart college educated people working here that make a good living in sales. We provide a very specific product for very specific markets! If the members of the association are not a target, then you shouldn't be advertising with that group. If they are a target- do yourself a favor and actually spend some time on the guide to learn how it works....some companies renew listings, when they would get FAR better results by simply adding on some extra placement options for nominal rates.
Multiview publishes for over 900 associations, and we employ of 400 college educated sales reps. Any rep who tries to mislead, lie, or anything not 100% honest is terminated. They have a zero tolerance policy. The only thing I agree with from other posts on here is that we do over call. this is often because of duplicate leads, causing multiple reps to call without knowing. This is a problem and they do their best to avoid it. Like I said earlier, they are not a perfect company but they are honest, successful, and growing. 900 associations trust us with handling advertising to their members, we wouldn't have these relationships if weren't anything but 100% legitimate. We also happen to sell $7 million plus in advertising every month.
People who label professional inside sales reps as "loser telemarketers" clearly have never been in sales. We have a business model that requires inside sales- there is nothing illegal or unprofessional about this process. The same professionals that travel to businesses to solicit are called outside sales reps. we just happen to do it sitting in a comfortable office building. If you cannot understand this- then you probably don't understand that EVERYTHING revolves around sales. Multiview just happens to be better at this process than you!!
Finally, for the ex employee on here trying to bash Multiview and scare away new recruits let me share this with you....we tell every employee what they are signing up for. Inside sales is NOT for everyone, if you are a good communicator, smart, able to handle rejection, and determined you will make good money at Multiview. However, if you are not able to cut it- or just not happy doing inside sales there is nothing wrong with that. Be a professional and understand that inside sales isn't for everyone.
If anyone reading this is curious- I am not a high level director, equity holder, etc. I have been a team lead but also just someone who works hard in sales at Multivew and cannot stand seeing ridiculous things being said about a good company. If anything else, they give hard working people a chance to make a decent honest living, provide associations revenue, and try to do it in a fun way. No company is perfect, but in my opinion they are one of the good ones!

If Multiview is a scam, then how do we gross over 100 million dollars a year without anyone investigating our business practices?
If our product is garbage, then how we doubled in size and profits during a recession?
If we are a scam how do we represent over 900 associations and growing without those associations getting up set about us scaming their members and exhibitors?
On a side note, you shouldn't characterize people that you do not know. There are over 500 employees in the company and none of them are scum. It should a true lack of class to slander people you don't even know.
Finally, we only call companies who are relevant to the associations we represent. Moreover, just because we call you to see if you would like to be in front of our audiences doesn't make us a scam.
That's what a sales force does. Google doesn't need to do that because they are the largest Search Engine Company in the world! By the way, facebook is losing advertisers because they are finding that they aren't generating results. Does that make them a scam and Mark Zuckerberg a cheat?

I am sorry that the original poster feels they got the wrong end of the deal with this company, but that is no reason to make false statements.
I am not defending the company. Why would I? Oh yeah, you think I have a stake in this company (employee or customer)
How does it feel to be wrong? Also, how is it possible that you trying to convince others that someone you know nothing about (me) is helping the original poster?
If the company screwed you, state the facts. That is fully acceptable. Making false statements only hurt your character.
I would like to state that saying that I or anyone that says "I do not work for or use the company..." is lying would be as absurd as me going on all these posts that say the same things are just employees or customers of competing companies. It does absolutely nothing to strengthen the case of either side.
How do I know you don't work for a competitor? I don't.
Do I have anything to do with this company? No.
Oh well, you won't believe me. That is fine. All I did was point out a flaw in the original post and was actually saying it to help the poster not appear like someone who would fall for scams. It appears that you want them to appear like they would.
Sorry.

To all those people that yell, this company or that company is a scam cause they called our bussiness and we are on the do not call registry" too bad. I know it sucks to receive unwanted calls but you cannot use the fact that you are mis-using a service intended for private citizens to "protect yourself"
