I, too, ordered a "sample" supply for $2.95, with the understanding that if I didn't cancel the order, I would automatically be charged $169.95 for a one-month supply. I experienced problems with the website when placing the order, and so did some investigation - found rip off reports, and immediately contacted company (via email, as instructed on their website) to cancel any further shipments/charges. I sent a copy of this email to my bank, asking that no further charges be accepted.

Bank informed me I needed to wait until further charges made before filing a claim. Approx. 3 weeks later, charge for $169.95 shows up, and a package in the mail. Had to return the package with tracking (cost about $7). Bank dispute placed.

My Diet Patches refunded ONLY $159.95, claiming shipping and handling charges. My bank said they cannot refund the shipping and handling, as this is "probably in their contract with me." Pointed out I HAD NO CONTRACT with them, as I cancelled IMMEDIATELY (same day the sample order placed).

Can't reach company - 800 number picks up, puts on hold, then hangs up on you. Not even one human contact in this process. Can't reach them via email - my cancellation email never verified, returned, nor acknowledged. NOW, their website is no longer taking orders!

Have they taken my, and every other naive American's, $10 "shipping and handling" fees and gone to the Bahamas?!?

FILE REPORTS. Raise a noise! Preying on the most susceptible is a disgrace, and illegal!
