Back in September I ordered a auto history report for $1. Was billed $19.95 by "Carinfo1.com" on my September credit card statement, promptly called the phone number listed on statement to cancel and was assured no future charges would be billed. In October, I was again billed $19.95, this time by a company called "Myinfo1.com". Called again and was offered a refund and assured that card would not be billed again. On November statement, no refund and again a $19.95 charge to "Myinfobill.com". Called again to demand refund of previous charges by related sham companies and to cut off all future charges. On December statement, was again billed $19.95 by "Backgroundfee.com". Again called phone number on statement and demanded refund, was given same lame promise of refund and no future charges. What a surprise to see on my January statement yet another $19.95 charge for yet another scam company, "Myfeeplan.com". Will not be calling the company any more but instead calling credit card to cancel card and issue a new one and also will be making a complaint to NJ Attorney General, Department of Consumer Affairs, and also the U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey.
