I contacted this compay and spoke to the owner who gave me a quote to ship my car across the country. When I told him he was too high compared to the other companies I had spoken to he said that the individuals working for those other companies were working in cubicals on dusty Dells while he on the other hand was sitting comfortably in his 4 bedroom Boca Raton home sipping on martinis and working on his apple. I told him I then needed to find a company in between his company and the others because he was obviously over priced. This clown then totally lost it and started yelling at me over the phone callinig me a cheapskate, cheapbastard, and cheapfker. He continued to call me back and yell. Stay away from this jerk and his company like the plague. Would you really want to risk your car to some guy with a temper and lack of professional courtsey like this let alone with his arrogance?! He's obviously sitting in his Boca Raton house sipping on martinis and typing away on an Apple because he over charges and takes advantage of people. It's certainly not because he actually provides good customer service. If you do choose to work with this sleeze and something goes wrong in the process of working with him you will most likely be very disappointed with the outcome. Ask yourself; do you reall want to risk that? You have been warned.

I contacted this company to get a transport quote. Inadvertenly I typed in one to many digits on his contact form.
I then get this email
"XXXXXXXXX is NOT a valid phone number! If you are going to waste my time with BULLS**T phone numbers then your business is NOT welcome here...I REFUSE it...and keep the hell off of my website!!! You are TRESPASSING!!!"
I then responded and told him that the number contained one to many digits and left my corrected number.
He responsed with:
"Bulls*t. You are full of s**t you fu**ing a**hole. You purposely provided a BULLS**T phone number because YOU are FULL OF S**T. Now keep the hell off of my website! You are trespassing! You are NOT nor will you EVER be my customer and ONLY customer may post reviews on Transport Reviews! I had your BULLS**T review removed and if you report me to the BBB then I will sure as hell report YOU to the KKK! F**K YOU WHERE YOU BREATHE...EAT S**T...AND DIE YOUNG YOU SCUMBAG!!!"
I informed him that I was going to post reviews everywhere and also turn the threatening emails over to the police. He called me also to harrass me. He then replied"
GO SWALLOW SOME POISON YOU LUNATIC PIECE OF S**T!!! YOU GO TO THE BBB...I GO TO THE KKK...SIMPLE AS THAT!!!
This was all because I typed in one to many digits on a contact form. NOT a phoney number, but just one to many digits. This email is incredibly threatening and I am going to the FL police with it. This guy needs help. BUT if you need a transporter, I would think twice about using him.

Good Experiences with Transport Connection

I have used Transport Connection twice and have had good experiences both times. Why should the owner NOT work out of his home in a nice location, or be paid for his services? Compared with other brokers I have had contact with, Bill seems open and honest (if very outspoken).
Let me explain how this business works: Sort of like real estate, except the fee is fixed rather than a percentage commission. You contract with a broker, who has professional access to online job boards, and knows many of the trucking companies by reputation. You pay the broker a fixed fee (they call it a "deposit" which it is not, as it is not refunded in case of success), and they post the job on the board at an agreed-on rate that the broker feels will get the job done. If no trucker takes the job after a few days, they get back in touch and suggest raising the offer. Costs depend on what you are transporting, and from where to where. Truckers will obviously demand more for out-of-the way pickups and drop-offs and premium services (enclosed truck for luxury vehicle, for example).
When a trucker accepts the job and performs the service, you pay the trucker on delivery. You can of course try to avoid a broker and contact dozens of trucking companies directly, but some only work through brokers, and others that appear to be trucking companies are actually brokers.
Transport Connection sent me email updates at all phases of the transaction, including details on the trucking company that was doing the work. I would use them again.

I think that a hard-working business owner deserves to enjoy the good life, don't you? I mean isn't that what the American dream is all about? Owning your own successful business and living the life of luxury are things that you are obviously not accustomed to, my good friend. If you were in my shoes, would you rent a modest studio apt., drink Budweiser and use an EMachine for your work? Think about it. It's obvious that you do not enjoy such a grand lifestyle and begrudge others like myself that do.
I did call you a lousy cheapskate because you are definitely not a customer of mine but rather a cheap, pathetic slob who thinks that the auto transport industry is a flea market and that you can just name your own price, and force a broker to honor it. You would also like the hard working carriers out there to move your car for free. I thrive on the venom of low-life slobs like you...keep it coming.
