MyChangeAddress is putting ads online saying:... MyChangeAddress is a private entity that facilitates the address change request process for its users. MyChangeAddress acts as an authorized agent for users wishing to file their address change request with the United States Postal Service-this service is provided for a fee to cover postage, handling and processing. .... MyChangeAddress files a hard copy of the official change of address form with the United States Postal Service on behalf of its users.
They charged my bank card (which I have alerted my bank of their SCAMMING, and have hotcarded my card so they cannot use it again)$6.99 and NEVER did they have my mail changed or forwarded even though they sent me a confirmation of the change, which I have filed! SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!! Do NOT use this company. ONLY go through the USPS.COM official site. I was in a hurry to get mine changed, moving is stressful enough, and I did not read the fine print. SAD, as I had only paid $1.00 before to change my address. THEY ARE NOT AN AUTHORIZED AGENT FOR THE USPS! They are fraud, liars and I hope they get sued by the USPS for acting as an authorized agent for USPS. PLEASE... do NOT use this site!!! The contact email on the confirmation comes back UNDELIVERABLE!!!

Still a scam

Just because they own up to not being a part of the USPS does not mean it is not a scam. They still charge 7 times more than the USPS, fail at submitting the change of address (for me as well as apparently many other people), and really don't offer anything more than the USPS, despite what the employee claims. DO NOT USE.

The website clearly states in the first paragraph, "For just $6.99, we will save you some hassle and offer you assistance not available from the USPS to help you get the services you need plus give you a FREE E-Book on how to lower your energy costs complete with hundreds of dollars of money saving offers and coupons available exclusively from MyChangeAddress. And, if you sign up for any service you need, we will file your request absolutely free of charge."
MyChangeAddress also states it is a private entity that facilitates the address change request process for its users.
So in fact mychangeaddress is NOT a scam as you proclaim nor are we liars. The USPS is well aware of this website and we conform to all their rules and regulations.
