this company has called my workplace over the last year saying that you are eligible for a free gift. An iphone 4 or a ipad or a gift voucher to the value of blah blah blah. As any normal person says how did we win this gift. YOu get the gift on the last purchase you made with us. Ok well no problems mail us the gift. So they get your address and say excellent now i will just record the call and read you a small statement that says you are recieving the gift on the recieval of your next 60 cartitriges for your printers. Beg your bardon i didnt order any cartridges????? so you are not recieving a free gift as they stated at the start of the call, you are recieving an ipad for free on top of the say $4000 - 6,000. 00 that it will cost you for the cartridges that you have not yet purchased. When i asked the gentleman to repeat his sentence as i had hurd the catch of the phrasing that he would be sending me an invoice for 60 cartridges i nearly died. I in no way was aware that by saying yes to a free gift which they made you believe was from prior purchases able to say that our business would pay for $5000.00 worth of stock that would take us up to 4 years to use. When i said to this particular seller that i did not need any cartridges, he said but then you cant get the free gift. I said no problems and hung up. He then rang back and spoke to other staff to try and get them to agree to the deal. I explained the situation to the owner of our company and when the mycom seller called the last time in feb 14 we recieved a letter from their company stating that this would be the last time they would call, that our company name would be taken off the calling list and put onto a we call them basis when we need cartiridges. I mean come on we are a small business that might go through 2 cartirdiges a month if that and they still insist on calling every month at least. Since recieving the letter from their head office i have recieved 4 phone calls from staff claiming to work for them that say we have agreed to more cartridges and owe them money. To them i say I have 2 pieces of paper in front of me... 1 says you will not call us again and the other is a invoice for the cartridges that we have recieved and paid for. We do not owe them anything. mY caution is to busy people who are answering the phone and working at the same time. Dont get suckered into a deal that does not exsist. They also when i first started last year kept saying that the person prior to me had arranged for all the cartridges to be continuous and that she agreed so we had to buy them. kellie t.i. QLD
