MyFax Need a new career? Try to get your MyFax to work! Internet
I was a very happy MyFax customer for many years. Then they changed their software platform and nothing worked properly anymore. While many in the company deny this, I was acknowledged by most of the many techs that tried to help me get the d**n thing to work properly. My faxes would get sent in multiple copies to the recipients. The option to review my faxes before sending was also lost with the new software. After numerous calls and hours with tech support, I cancelled my service and subscribed with another provider. Today I discovered that my service was renewed for another year and they are unwilling to refund my money.
Going to Ripoff Report I see that others have had similar problems both with service and billing. With so many good other providers out there, why even waste your time trying to use this service? The people I spoke to in customer support had no interest in doing the right thing. Despite the documentation of my service issues and the request to port my fax number to another provider, they claim that I never cancelled my service and are legally entitled to charge my credit card for another one year non-refundable plan. Is this the type of company you want to do business with? I suggest you stay as far away as possible.
