Be aware that (and its trolling site is a TOTAL SCAM..!

Conducting genealogy research on a difficult-to-find ancestor, I landed at the web site. I should have been suspicious when a .org started asking for money to tell me about the 75 records they supposedly had found.

I naively agreed to fork over the requested $1.00 fee and was immediately dumped on the web site to conclude the transaction. I entered my information and was rewarded with a generic 'start at the beginning' search screen for reverse phone directories, e-mail address look-ups, background checks, etc.

Checking my supposed 'search history' did not show ANY hits, rather than the 75 promised.

I called the 1.866.434.4253 "customer service" number from the site and it told me I was talking to and that I could only approach them via customer service. There was no phone or e-mail contact information proviced on, only an offer of a 24/7 live chat.

This operation is a total scam and should be avoided. Be more alert than I was.

For anyone reading this post, beyond the basic scam outlined above, the actual charge posted to my account was $19.95 rather than $1.00 as advertised on the web site - a 20 times overcharge..!

Josh - I filed complaint #104725398 with Chase about your little bait and switch scam. You should be hearing from them shortly.
