I recently checked my credit report. On it was an account for this creditor which i have never heard of. i disputed it and this creditor sent me a statement that i opened an account in 2001 and i owe them money. i never had an account with them and didnt even know it was on my credit report. They claim that i opened an account in 2001 but i have never received any bills or statements from them until i disputed my credit report.
