If you are reading this because you want to check the company before getting involved you are lucky. My advise, do not do business with them. I you already bought their Shop2000 business you are in trouble. NADN sells this business which is accessible to handicap and hence allows those who buy part of this Internet Mall to take advantage of the Dissable Tax Credit offered by the government. This sounds great, and it begins great as in fact I did get a refund. Here is the trap however: When I bought the business for $ 1200 in cash I was told that I had to do nothing.

A company called Oryan Management would create the Web page and manage the site for me. When I received the contract it said that the real price was $ 10,000 so I had a promissory note for the difference. When I called they said that they had advertising banners that already has contracted with them which will pay for my contract within one year. So I agreed, I paid, and I did get a tax refund.

When they talked me into doing it again for this year, I gave them my money ($ 5,000 for this year for two contracts, one for me and one for my spouse) and then I started getting information on how to "GET THIS BUSINESS TO WORK".

Wait a minute! they told me I had to do nothing. ORYAN Management was supposed to manage my site and I did not have to do any advertising or promoting. WELL, GUESS WHAT, IF YOU HAVE A ZIP CODE AREA THAT WAS ASSIGNED TO YOU, THE ADVERTISING HAS PAID ZIPPO111 ZERO, NADA.
ORYAN Management has been very nasty with me because even though I sent them money for this year, I realized that they are not doing what was promissed and that if I don't promote the site myself, I will be liable to pay the promissory note. For this reason I have not signed this year's contract, but Oryan claims that it does not matter, since I signed it last year, it makes me liable for the promissory notes for this year in additon to the promissory note from last year. They said in 8 years I will have to pay them $ 22,000. How do you like that?

I just contacted the attorney general in my state because I believe that there are thousands of people across the country that are being taken by NADN and ORYAN.
ORYAN Management is obviously building a company that will look great on books. Imagine, millions of dollars in promissory notes coming due in 8 years. They get a good deal of money up front and the promissory notes are Assets on their books, against which they can borrow millions from any banking institution.

Didn't ENRON get in trouble for something like that? I don't know how we get people together for legal action. Perhaps this site can help up do that.

Talk to the IRS first ..It was explained that as a home-based business

AUTHOR: Nikki - (U.S.A.)

My husband purchased two of the web-sites. It was explained that as a home-based business, we would first be able to deduct the start-up costs and then would receive a $5000 tax credit for each web-site. Apparantly, we made too much money to use the credits- THANK GOODNESS! We are now being audited by the IRS. The agent that has been working with us has been very pleasant. As it turns out, we now have to pay taxes on the "income" from the web-sites. We also have to pay back ALL of the deductions that we received that has anything to do with NADN/ORYAN plus interest. We have been told that the web-sites are not valid home businesses and therefore cannot provide any deductions. Your best bet is to call and talk to someone at the IRS. They are very familiar with NADN/ORYON. They can direct you as to what to do to keep out of hot water with your taxes. Keep in mind, you cannot rely on NADN to bail you out of an audit.

To maybe we can help each other

AUTHOR: Mark - (U.S.A.)

Yes, clicking each others sites will work.
The only problem I see with that is that you
want to clear up your own debt first (it is time
consuming)then you can help others. So far I have
clicked off well over 4 Grand, and if you do it quick enough you decrease the interest that is charged on the debt. Remember that you are now generating an income, fully legitimizing your home based buz.

maybe we can help each other!

AUTHOR: Cindy - (U.S.A.)

I too was taken my NADN. I was successful in getting my money back but only because I immeditately changed all of my accounts and filed a dispute with my credit card company. They are actually the ones who came through for me! Anyway, from what I am reading, if the mall hits really do help people lower the amount they are being charged, why don't we as consumers help each other by "hitting" on each other sites?? I don't know much about the mall set up as I did not get that far, but is this possible??

Sit sack and do nothing!!!

AUTHOR: Mark - (U.S.A.)

Well anybody out there who truly believes that
all you have to do is sit there and the money will come rolling in (reguardless of what sales said) must be living a pipe dream -- well at least with this plan. I have a shopn2000 web-site and fully aware of the prommissary note due in 8 years.

As one of the respondants said they clicked off $2000 in a very small time. And that is what I am doing.

Remember as you get 1099'd on the click's, this money comes to you as an income -- which legitamizes your bussiness -- now you can show an income for your site to the IRS.

I recieved my 1099 for about $1600 for 1 year, multiply that by 7, and this is now $11600 -- well more than the amount needed to payoff the note in 8 years! If you are to lazy to log on and click some dollars off then mabye you don't belong in a home based bussiness, because now you are showing an income which can now be offset by bussiness deductions, and if done right will cancel any income reported
so it's not a total rip-off -- so if you just want to sit around and take advanage of these tax credits and do nothing ----GET THE HELL OUT!!!!!
Remember you get out of it what you put into it, I suspect that's the way it's always been.

I may be able to help...

AUTHOR: Tyler - (U.S.A.)

I too fell for the ShopN2000 scam, but I did a lot of investigating, read the contract over and over and arrived at a solution that has saved me some money.

My understanding is that each "hit" on the five links under the heading "Showcase" is worth $2.00 credit toward the promissory note, regardless of the "hits" source.

So, armed with this knowledge, and a password to my "backoffice", I went to "my" ShopN2000 website and hit the bejesus out of those links. It works! I've been hitting those links consistantly for the past 6 weeks and have lowered the note amount by about $2000.

I've learned my lesson with NADN and will not be renewing my contract with Oryan Management (I have to give 90 days notice of cancellation prior to the one year contract termination date). If you need help or further information, post your questions and and I'll be glad to explain in further detail here on the Rip-off Report so everyone may benifit.

Good luck!
