i got a phone call late in the evening from a man with a strong accent. he informed me that he was from the IRS and that in reviewing my last few years of Tax Returns that i was eligable for a refund from the government. He had lots of information about me. He asked me to say yes after a recording and a beep but there was nothing said just a beep. so i told him i did not hear anything, he said all i was agreeing to was to have the money deposited into my account.

I asked several times if any money would be withdrawn from my account and the man assured me that there would not be any withdrawels from my account only a deposit for $3000 that i was being granted by the federal government. He asked that i make sure that during the recording i ONLY say yes other wise the computer would not be able to process the data. I felt uncomfortable with it, so again i asked what was being said BEFORE the beep and he again reassured me that all i agreed to was to have this money deposited into my account which was an IRS refund on a tax return.

I checked a few days later to see if there was anything wierd on my account but everything seemed ok. then about 6 days later a 29.95 fee was withdrawn from my account and then 14 days later 295.95 was withdrawn.
I called the number the bank gave me 1-866-407-1029 and spoke to a gentleman that assured me i had given permission via phone and that my request for a refund would be reviewed. He said he was not guaranteeing a refund because they had to first review the tapes to make sure. Of course my voice is on there recording saying "yes" but not to their request for a withdrawel from my account but ONLY for a deposit which of course was NOT recorded because i was supposed to say yes after a "beep" which they could have put any words they wanted to behind it and falsify that i agreed.

Do not fall for this scam, the IRS is not granting money. The number that they called from was 0101 which i found strange as well so if you see this number on your caller id, beware, this company is a rip off.
I am supposed to call the company back in a few days to find out if my refund request is approved, but according to other reports i have read on this company, no one has been granted a refund, even when the police were brought into the matter which i plan on doing immediately.
