NCO Financial Services ripoff NCO Group Regularly Violates Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act FDCPA Horsham Pennsylvania

A few months after having ordering a new unlisted/non-published residential telephone service, I began to recieve multiple phone call messages from NCO Finanicial Systems/Collection Group. In each message - they would demand to speak to someone who I have never heard of before. They refused to offer or provide proof of any existing debt and demanded that I give them confidential information about me over the phone. I ignored each and every of their requests.

At one point the number of messages exceeded 16 in one 24 hour period! At first, I ignored all there phone messages from NCO as they clearly had the wrong number or wrong debtor information and ultimately this matter did not concern me. I repeatedly ask them to STOP calling my number.

Instead of NCO providing proof of any debt - the NCO agent gave me a 2-minute verbal beating over the phone. The NCO agents were all rude and unprofessional. They did not listen and simplied began rattling a barage of insults and explicits at me. Evidently, this is business as usual at NCO and part of their "professional' consumer collection practice. It is NCO's standard method of debt collection.

Ironically, a debt that I do not owe or have ever owed. Proof of the level of incompetence at which NCO Financial Systems seems to excel at.

I am in the process of contacting the local Police department and reporting this company as making TERRORISTS THREATS, a misdemeanor in California. Further, I would like to contact other consumers who have also been contacted and subsequently harrassed in the same manner over telephonically by this company.

NCO Financial Systems is blatantly and regularly violating multiple State criminal laws and Federal regulations specifically related to consumer debt collection practices. In the past, this company has been successfully sued for violating the same crimes mentioned plus others in this more recnt complaint (see Johnson v. NCO Financial Systems 1999 U.S. District Court Chicago, IL). This company simply elects to disregard the law and continue committing the same crimes over and over again.

Enough is enough! - Watch out, NCO Finanicial Systems all the people you harrass are coming for you!
