Process

AUTHOR: Ashley - (U.S.A.)

if a debt collector contacts you and the debt is not valid, you have 30 days to challenge the debt or it will be considered valid.

You need to write a letter, certfied, to NCO and request that they validate the debt. Until they do this, they cannot collect on the debt. Additionally pull your credit report and challenge any bad marks on it.
