NCO Financial cheated me out of payroll hours by paying empoyees using a log in log out method nationwide
I was hired in the telesales department at NCO as a swift representive to process loan for M&I bank who ever they are and I was hired fulltime 9-5 M/F however after completing my training and joing the team I was told that there is a no time card system in place to calculate employee hours but the computer was how I was paid. I traveled 7 days to the place of employment and several timed during the day I had to log off to fax documents or use the bathroom ect..
I was later informed that I was not being paid when not logged into the system. and worst I was told that if I worked though my lunch I would be paid as well i recieved my first check and it was for 305.00 at least 100.00 wrong I was paid less that no co-workers whom started a day later that myself and this was impossibe.... when questioned about the computer each day that I completed a shift as to why the system only reflected 6.5 hrs or 5,56 of an hour and so forth I was told that some one would figure out my time later and make agustments accordinly. But what is happening is that they are guessing of throwing anything out to its employees because its a atwill position and mostly poor people work there.
As I noticed a political survey was started and as many as 50 young and old people answered the call to a Obama survey in the state of Pa calling registered voters for 9 per hour after 2 days all were let go after and told that the computers were out of leads. Im sure these kids were ripped as well. In my situation several times the computers had to be re-booted or shut-down for various reasons while I just sat there and waited not knowing that I was not being paid.
to make a long story short this method of keeping time using a computer when it takes several minutes to log on and off not including when the computers freeze and the whole process has to start over again we as employees are and have lost millions of dollars in hard earned money to this company. All I know is that i left my home in millville and 7:45am and arrived at NCO at 8:55 and used $350.00 and least in fuel and were and tear on my car and left that building at 5:00 pm and that is what I expected to be paid for.
I called corporate offices in NYC and made a formal complaint and Elaine in employee wanted to know how much I worked and she would take of it. Im sure she will but what about the countless other who im sure have been bilked out of money. Also My teenage son also worked there for one of the three weeks that I was employed there and he worked there also Im sure that while they had him there sitting at severla stations just observing other workers and listening to their sales pitch while training he will not be paid correctly either because he said he was logged off due to the computers malfunction more than logged on but he was in the building for his shift as well.... as were many young kids younger that 18 and over 18 these kids will be all happy to just get a check without question... this company needs to be reported to the Newjersey Department of lobor and a Class action Lawsuit needs to be inacted for every employee who worked under the phoney system they have in place to gain work from unsuspected employees and senios citizens
