Nextel Is Caught Trying to Hide Their Unsatisfactory Record With BBB As Customer Services Hit A Record All Time Low.

We had a horrible service with Nextel wrongfully not crediting our $400.00 defective i860, then shutting our service down twice, extorting us to pay them. We will continue this story in detail later, we wany to first mention NEXTEL and now its futile attempt to hide its Unsatisfactory Record with the BBB.

We typed in our web browser www.bbb.org/ and then typed in the words NEXTEL and we must of go a list of 20 or so NEXTEL BBB reports indicating perfect/spotless satisfactory records and the math did not add up.

We dug even more and found the follwing that peaked our interest out of the many BBB report choices,

So, we clicked upon it and we read that this NEXTEL COMPANY RELIABILITY REPORT containted an UNSATISFACTORY RECORD with the BBB due to UNANSWERED COMPLAINTS.

So what was going on here? Nextel Communications a member of the BBB (paying annual fees) along with the BBB was practicing what is knowing in the industry as, "THE SPONGING OF COMPLAINTS."

This is where all complaints are absorbed to one location making all the their other stores look clean, which is very deceiving.

I purchased a brand new I860 directly from Nextel telesales for about $400.00. The telephone had troble holding a charge, so I took it to the following
(sub-contracted) Nextel Tmobil and what every other else you could imagine Gypsy Store and thats what I got......GYPSY SERVICE WHEN THEY TURNED ME AWAY ON TWO DIFFERENT OCCASSIONS. I called Nextel 611 and complained, putting them out of business only for them to open up the very next week in their spouces name.




Due to the difficulty of the GYPSY NEXTEL store refusing to exchange my defective battery on two seperate occasions, some time had passed. I contacted customer service and they agree to take back my brand new telephone and ship me out a new one, how ever...they would have to bill me an addition $400.00 UNTIL THEY RECIEVED THE SUSPECTED DEFECTIVE ONE. The letter in the box read (PLEASE ALLOW UP TO SIX WEEKS FOR YOUR ACCOUNT TO BE CREDITED AFTER RECEIPT OF
SHIPMENT) Nextel obtained my brand new telephone, but did not credit my account, but enrolled me without my permission in their $75.00 BUY BACK PROGRAM......YOU HEARD RIGHT......THEY CREDITED MY ACCOUNT ONLY $75.00 FOR A $75.00 TELEPHONE, EVEN THOUGH I HAD THIS LETTER FROM THEM.



I went down to my local store and even had my service representative call in TELESALES and CUSTOMER SERVICE.
He was connected to even a MARRY WILLIAMS some where in Bangledesh and they hung up the telephone on him twice. His comments were, (THIS IS SO WRONG WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO YOU, MY COMPUTER NOTES SHOW EVERYTHING, THEY ARE WRONG TO BE DOING THIS) He was furious, and they had not shutdown service on his phone either like they had with mine, yes....out of the blue.......NO SERVICE.........Sir you must immediately pay $185.00 for us to reconnect you.



I later obtained court documentation in the mail the the opposing counsel was seeking sanctions against me from the judge for failure to respond and they had been trying to contact me, but my cell phone was disconnected. They were also billing me $160.00 for the court reporter. Several days later, I obtained a call from Nextel SUPERVISOR MARISSA CR253228, sir you owe this much, you need to pay. Listed i said, there is a mistake, you need to go back and review these certain dates and even contact these people. Her response, (I JUST GOT THIS, IT WAS JUST HANDED TO ME) Like she didn't have a care in the world, exactly 10 minutes later, PHONE DEAD AGAIN..........NO SERVICE.



My puppy was in the hospital and you people had wrongfully shutoff my phone that I also use for business, that 80% of your customers use for business.



Mr. Orchard, Senior Vice President and Chief Service Officer. I have been with your company well over 7 years, even though the original sub-contracter made false internet promises on my unlimited plan. My expenditures to your company today may exceed $15,000.00. I as well as all the readers on the internet await your promp response to this very unpleasant situation.




If any consumer has had an unhappy experience with Nextel Serices and you have exhausted 611 to death you are to take the following very effective measures.

I Also Had a Horrible Experience with Nextel, it wasn't even as bad as this guys experience who started this thread, but I would have to agree to the run around and to, "Oh well that's there department, well send you there.

I got someone on 611 who didn't have a clue, nor didn't really care 6,000 miles away.

I asked to speak to the manager, not unless I repeated to her the whole entire story all over........night-mare

One top off all that we have Robert-Bloomsburg,Pennsylvania who SELF APPOINTED HIMSELF as NEXTEL REPRESENTATIVE, attacking everyone who righfully files a ROR on Nextel saying Its motorolas fault, not Nextels, Read your contract, blaw, blaw, Nextels service is just as good as anyone elses, blaw blaw blaw.

I have a fix for these games and bad service. If NEXTEL does not provide full credit to this guys account above, full restitution, & take care of his expenses that have no doubt should be another $500.00 for a new phone and accessories,

I'm going to please my wife and go with her to those stupid garage sales and sart buying used king size bed sheets for about 3.00 each. Then I'm going to spray NEXTEL in black on them , then i SUCKS n red.........then RIPOFFREPORT.COM in Blue.

Then I' m gonna go to several freeway overpasses on Sunday night 2:00 am and hang up. I freeway next to my house has an average of 100,000 cars pass by per day. The next day when morning rush hour arrives it will be nice...I think I might post the photos right on this thread lo llo llo lololollolololollololololololol

Then print out THIS ENTIRE COMPLAINT ABOVE and mail it to every union in your state or for best results, every union in the entire U.S. Note: some unions have memberships of 36,000 and 80% of NEXTEL'S customers are business, so this is the best bang for your buck.

Another very effective form of sanctioning against NEXTEL is to copy & paste the list of complaint departments above like the FTC, IFCC, BBB, etc, and place them in internet FORUMS such as consumer forums, 4x4 truck forums, jet ski forums, sports forums, fishing forums, etc.

Smoething doesn't smell right here. From the documents you have posted, it sounds like Nextel hired an attorney to you. It also sounds like your attorney doesn't want to represent you anymore and you didn't show up for your deposition. What in the work is going on here?

I find it difficult to believe that you wouldn't just pay Nextel and them sue them in small claims court. Did you really let this get to the point where Nextel filed a lawsuit against you in Superior Court? And then you hired an attorney to defend the lawsuit rather than pay the money?

These photos and documents were sent to my regional manager of Southern California as of (2) weeks ago and nothing. Clearly this man was very upset when he was left no choice but to resort to writing his final complaint to my company via the internet.

In his frustration and anger he made an error regarding the credit my company actually gave him. THEY CREDITED MY ACCOUNT ONLY $75.00 FOR A $75.00 TELEPHONE, EVEN THOUGH I HAD THIS LETTER FROM THEM. It should really say THEY CREDITED MY ACCOUNT ONLY $75.00 FOR A $400.00 TELEPHONE, EVEN THOUGH I HAD THIS LETTER FROM THEM.

This man also neglected to mention that my company charged him about $75.00 to turn his phone on, then $185.00, hell he lost track of the charges. He also forgot to mention that both of us have been fighting our own company for OVER 3 MONTHS, which is disgraceful.

This man was very upset to find out that he had no internet access on his $400.00 with internet capability, even though he had been paying for the UNLIMITED PLAN FOR THE PAST WELL, DECADE..........PROMISES OF THE NON-OFFICEL NEXTEL STORES MADE HIM.

He called 611 from my land line and I listedened in, (SIR AS IT SAYS HERE ON OUR COMPUTER, YOU DO HAVE THE UNLIMITED PLAN, HOWEVER, YOU HAVE THE (OLD UNLIMITED PLAN)....WOULD COULD ADD INTERNET ON YOUR PHONE FOR AN ADDITIONAL $15.00 PER MONTH) He looked to be more more hurt than angry, then he got very very angry.

My company needs to stop shutting people phones off becuase it is clear that in doing so, it can cause severe ramifications/collateral damage to people. My company needs to immediately correct the very poor attitude/animosity among TELESALES and CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Don't even bother trying to find out what NEXTEL EMPLOYEE I AM, I'M INVISIBLE.
