I myself used to be a Senior Manager with NHCD AKA National Healthcare Discount and was with the company for OVER 4 years. I will admit that none of my paychecks bounced and noone on my teams paychecks bounced but I do know of other Managers checks that bounced as well as their reps paychecks that did bounce.

And as for closing down the leads department you say that is a smart move. Well let me tell you where they are getting the leads from! How about this they are pulling old leads that were not contacted, not interested, hang up etc. They are pulling them from 6 months ago as far as a year ago.

Picture this!! Imagine yourself as a senior would you appreciate someone calling you over and over and over again trying to sell you a program when you are not interested or do not have the money. I know I wouldn't. Not only that those leads WILL come back as return. Those people are not going to remember talking to a rep because these leads go so far back.

Any decision this company has made there have NEVER been given any notice. Pitcure yourself as a lead manager and having your team taken away from you and you and your reps being given the option to only do sales or recruiting. You want to know the kicker I am sure that you did not know is that AE is working with ALL of the top lead producers and manageing them. THAT'S RIGHT!

So tell me is that fair to these lead managers that have worked hard with their reps for them to be pulled and for AE to work with them while they can't and for their pay to go way down. I don't think so!! And the reasoning for this I would imagine because there was no where for AE to go.

And about the phone issue! Tell me why is it right to charge for the access code when it is FREE. Also if you do not work for a certain amount of time the access code is removed from your phone line but they are STILL taking the funds out of the persons account for the access code.

Can you answer that one? My guess would be SCAMMMM ALERT! And yes everyone should read the contract and mostly everyone does but it does not state that in the contract that it will be removed if you do not use the access code for a certain amount of time but you will still be charged for it.

Bottom line Ruby don't speak unless you know the facts and you won't get jumped all over. Believe me I can always find out what goes on in the inside.

Most of the people reporting on here are on medications such as Zoloft and alot of the Sr Managers working for NHCD at this time are taking medications due to the stress. Believe it or not alot of people that post on this site are still with NHCD. So watch who you talk to because you never know who is your friend.

To DeeDee,
You keep telling me that I know nothing about the company that I work for. Yet, you have no idea what it is like to work there now. You only know of what happened in the past. I am speaking about current events here, but you are living in the past. You must have a very boring life, DeeDee, since you are still complaining to anyone that will stand still for more than a minute. You claim that you are so happy to be rid of this company. However, all I hear is anger and spite coming from you. If you are glad to be rid of them, why aren't you happy??? You can't embrace happiness until you let go of anger...and there you are, clinging to it for dear life. You might want to sign up for the Rx plan so you can afford the Depakote and Zoloft that you so obviously need. I do not feel the need to justify this madness anymore, so let the rebuttals come, I will not respond again. It was silly of me to engage in a battle of wits with an unarmed person to begin with.

Listen up Ruby !!!What everyone is tring to say is that you should just be prepared ..it is all fine anddandy now but you just wait it will not be to much longer ..Do you know how many law suites are out there right now to nhcd ....I almost lost everything because of those ignorants .Including being sick for 3 weeks becasue of the stress that they put me through.They had 3 weeks of my pay that they were not giving me ..i finaly got it all but 1 I waited 7 weeks for 1 weeks pay..I got the run around from each and every one i spoke with ..I had to call the payroll office everyday and leave nasty messages.. In the mean time they were cheating me out of contest pay telling me i did not have enough to make contest that day ..I had customers sending in checks to the office for the program that later called me and told me so that they ahd joined and i never recieved that money... I have customers tha oi recievied a charge back on that never got their money back What Pissed is trying to say in very simple words WAKE UP AND PAY ATTENTION..

NHCD does not care about Their associates..sooner or later you will be out and without a job ..NO MATTER HOW WELL YOU PAY ATTENTION OR DO NOT ASK QUESTIONS AND DO WHAT Is EXPECTED OF YOU...
I would realy pay attention to the managers on here take it from me they are telling you the truth..they know more then you or i ever will..

Why do you feel the need to call me names? Are you really soooo narrow-minded that you can't see that there are two sides to everything? Your experience with NHCD was terrible, according to you. But my experience has been great! Does that mean that either one of us is lying? No. It just means that we are looking at this from different sides. I don't mind having a mere $18.95 charge every month. When you consider what I used to pay to buy a wardrobe, pay for car repairs and maintenance, gasoline, babysitters and meals outside the home, $18.95 sounds great to me! Let's not forget the time I save everyday by not having to commute back and forth. I am a happier person and my kids and husband are happier since I now have more time and energy for them. I stand by my original statements. I don't know who you worked with when you were with NHCD, but my leaders and team reps are fantastic. There are good and bad things that will happen to you. That is just the way that life is. I think if you just let it go and move on, you will become a more content person. Maybe you should consider counseling to help you get over it.
