NILICO is not who they seem they are rated by the BBB and they use that as a strong advertising point to sell but its for their customers not a rating on how they work for their employees. if you work for national income you will have had the same experience, they fail to tell you that you will need a ton of money to get yourself started. you need a car, gas because you going to dive for hours every day. and you need to have enough money to pay ur bills and be out of work for at least a month with out income. they dont have base pay, they dont pay for the hours of training you will do (about a month of training after you mesermize the 14 page script and ride around for a week and pass the class and NYS- which you pay for all your self). they have promises of a large salarly but they run through employees weekly because the job keeps you from family, friends, and any time you might have to make extra money to with stain your self. they target younger employees i believe due to the fact they are less experienced and they dont have any personal ties that would keep them away from work. they do give you leads like they say to call but after that its door to door 3 times a week. the leads never want to hear from you because they have you call the same people for 5 hours and eventually some unions cancel because of the amount of complaints you get from calling them. one benefial thing that they due do is collect food for a food bank for needy union members but i never saw the food bank or saw anyone deliver any food. they may collect and donate i am not sure on this matter.
