I really have a problem with the customer service that they lack in providing when trying to deal with cancellation of whatever scam they have conjured up for people in order to rip them off.
Yes, I also ordered through a survey like situation, the add itself stated you just pay shipping and handling for the knife, okay, I was fine with that. I am not fine with being forced into a membership. This company has an automated phone service where you speak to no one when attempting to deal with cancellation. One gets the option of three choices to choose from, and you have to wait for them to respond when they get ready, meanwhile they are continuously deducting from your bank account.
The add was very misleading in having me think from its presentation, that I need only pay for the knife's shipping and handling but the knife was free. Now I receive the knife and find out that it is a continual
membership, in which I am not interested, let alone can not afford the cost of each knife.
On this day, January 29, 2013, customer number:F0136205, submit in writing to the company,Cooking Pleasures, my cancellation request in writing to discontinue further services.
Therefore, stating: I would like to cancel membership and do not wish to receive any further shipments please. I am sending this in writing so that I have legal record of this transaction of cancellation of membership in advance. Therefore, there will be no further bank card transactions in the future for any deductions from
your company. If there are, my bank will also receive this letter as affidavit stating my request, therefore, if monies are deducted in any way, you will not receive funds from your attempt.This transaction, letter, is dated showing my compliance under your terms.
