I just sent the following to NPDOR because I haven't seen any advantage for me to continue their online surveys. NOTHING!!

"I signed up so very long ago that I cannot remember what MY BENEFITS are to answering your surveys. What do I GET for answering the surveys? Anything at all besides being entered into some stupid sweepstakes or drawing which I have never won or never will win? I need some kind of incentive to do these and can't remember what it was or is. I am not getting anything for this at all it seems. Can you remind me what I get for answering your surveys? I am and have gotten nothing for it so far!"

I have joined NPD and I do not see any way to earn cash taking surveys other than entering sweepstakes and hoping to get lucky. It's a waste of time.

NPDOR isn't fake

I believe that NPDOR has a great web site and is easy to use. The only complaint that I have is that I don't get that many surveys at all and I love them. I think the little games you can play to win points are great. Just because you haven't won anything doesn't make the company lairs or anything like that. It just means you haven't won anything. It happens. Besides that, do you need to get something every time you do a survey?

A company shouldn't need to give you something every time they ask for your opinion. I think they are doing a great job. The web site is easy to use, it is fun, in my opinion, when you get surveys and you get to play the little games. I also like that they don't just shove you into some drawing. They let you pick what you would like to be entered in. I like them. I think they rock. I haven't won anything but I still find it fun and I'm sharing my opinion when they ask for it.

In the end, it's fun, it's easy, and they don't ask you to pay for anything. I like that part the best.

NPDOR is legit...

I received an email from Beth saying I had won the "Choose A Game Console" drawing in March 2009. I emailed them back saying I would like the Playstation 3. Beth replied back that it should arrive in 4 to 6 weeks. It arrived via UPS in 3 days!!!!! I've been doing surveys with NPDOR for a couple of years and this was my first win. Look me up in previous winners, I am Chad J. from Lovettsville.

It was worth it for me

I have been doing they surveys for a while. This week I actually won a watch on Sweepland. All it said on sweepland was Diamond Watch. I didn't know what that meant, but I went for it anyway because not than many had used their points for it. I got a Bulova 96e04 a watch with suggested retail of $675 for just doing 10 minute surveys every now and then. I think it is totally worth it.

Cheryl, you are right. I believe NPDOR never rewards its survey takers. The surveys are long and boring. The Sweepland.com website is a kind of child's play that you waste some more time on. I have never received any reward and I have lost all hope.

However, participation is voluntary and all you lose is some time, so it's best not to respond to their surveys any more.
