In November of 2007 I received a phone call from a represenative, offering me a low intrest rate credit card. I signed up with the understanding that if this was not for me I could cancel within 30 days. I NEVER received anything from them as promised however they began deducting charges from my checking account. first one was for $1.00 then a few days later $149.95 then a few days later $359.40 totaling $510.35. I called and cancelled immediately which was within my 30 days and given a cancellation number. I was told that I would receive a refund check with 45 days. After 45 days I began calling and was on hold for long periods of time. when I finally spoke to a customer service agent I was then informed it was 45 business days and they had until 01-24-08 to issue me a refund. after 01-24-08 I began calling again they refered me to Romy Schlaffer 1-800-350-0577 (number is a mail box only) and she NEVER returned my calls. While searching on the internet I found the National small Business Adminstration web site and they had a section explaining they are not the NSBA- National Small Business Alliance and had information on how to get in touch with the Denis Mario President of National Small Business Alliance. I began calling him, He also NEVER contacted me however he did have a young lady contact me and she explained they had credit card fraud on their accounts and refund were delayed 6 to 8 weeks how ever now it has been 201 days since I cancelled, and 145 days since my refund was due to me.
