NSS Magazine - Magazine Outlet.com Unauthorized Charge on Bank Card Stamford, Connecticut

Received a phone call last year from a this company for trial subscription for Skateboarder Magazine.  My underage son took the call and said OK.  Received bill in mail in February 2011 for full subscription price. 

Called company and cancelled subscription offer listed onthe bill.  Made myself perfectly clear that I did not want this magazine and that my son was underage and had no authority to accept it.  Thought all was well, until yesterday I see a $24.00 charge on my bank statement for a full year subscription to this magazine.

Not only that, but because I had virtually $20.00 in that checking account, it caused my bank to charge me a $41.00 overdraft fee.  So total transaction was $65.00!  Tried calling the numbe listed on the entry and could not get a human.  Called the number on the Skateboarder magazine and was told because it was a phone order they could not help me and gave me another number.

Called that number and couldn't get a human.  Went online to find the company and got another number.  Couldn't get a human.  The automated phone system is set up so that you only have a few options. 

I finally tried presing 0 continuously every time the automated person spoke.  After pressing 0 about 5 times I was transferred to ------ A HUMAN!  They don't tell you that on the automated phone system.

So BE PERSISTENT and PRESS 0.  You'll get a human and make sure they resolve your issue and don't pass you along.  Insist on speaking with a supervisore and THEIR supervisor if neccessary.  I finally resolved my issue and received both the subscription price and my overdraft fee returned to me.
