It was not until I did some browsing on www.synapsegroup.com that I figured it out. Synapse Group, Inc. is an indirect majority owned subsidiary of AOL Time Warner.
Yes, my friends, AOL is giving out the card numbers of it's subscribers to these thieving crooked bastards. Of all the individuals that have reported this company, I wonder how many are AOL subscribers. I would venture to say quite a few.

I must say, without an ounce of doubt, their is no illegal or immoral behavior taking place
AUTHOR: Luis - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, May 07, 2003
I must say, without an ounce of doubt, their is no illegal or immoral behavior taking place whatsoever with respect to obtaining credit card numbers or the swapping of them.
The gentleman concerned, Ken, should perhaps be a bit more careful of the purchases he makes with his credit card.
