Went to them for regular Trans flush. Said Pennzoil book said must upgrade to synthetic (more expensive). Took 2 1/2 Hrs (mainly because tech was on cell phone most of time). Next day trans started whining noise. Took it back, tech spent hour looking through Service Notices online, said was sure it just needed to be flushed again but needed to check with Pennzoil rep. Assured me safe to drive. Promised would call next day, did not. After I call Mgr. & complained, tech called said need to re-flush. By this time Trans was no engaging on higher gears. Next day NTB re-flushed, no call back. Next day I called back, no improvement. Then Mgr. said outside trans expert said should not have used synthetic. Mgr. said would re-flush with regular fluid. Still no improvement, Mgr, said will contact his insurance, gave him copy of previous trans service recpt. Promised would call next day with update, never did. Insurance finally call said needed to send inspector to look at trans, would call back, did not. After numerous calls, voice mails, and broken promises to call back. Claim denied, said driving with wrong fluid, three flushes in a row & driving after whine started (on Tech recommendation) did not affect trans. Will cost, $$$ to fix trans plus an extra week and a half of rental car waiting for NTB & Insurance to return calls.

however----we cannot deny that also the tech and service manger should be at fault for using the special fluid to make a bigger sale-----but you the owner of the car should know what fluid should and should not be used--it is kind of everyone at fault

here we go----if you see me 43--you see attack-----now---for 1--it is very rare for someone to come in and say i want a trans flush and spend $130-----why did you go there for a trans flush yet talk about "cause of tech recommendation"?----your a fu'n idiot------what kind of car is this also---a car with CVT which requires a special fluid!!!---you the mother f'n owner of the car should know what and what not fluid it takes---some may not agree but i honestly think it is the owners responsibilty for things gone wrong with there car-depending on the situation---------you leave out many details in this report----however---i will admit---the tech or service manger should of seen this coming----for example----just yesterday---our store closes at 7---we were very slow this day---it is just one of those times in the world where everyone wants to come in at 5 past pm to get there dumb crap done--such as 1 tire(cause of nail in sidewall/unfixabale tire)----in any case--we close at 7----i was the only guy there sort of(ed was suppuse to leave at 4 but stayed till 7 to help me-bless his soul)---so this dickhead sales manager at 6:50 takes in 4 tires and an alignment on a mercury grand marq---not smart!---these cars suck for wheels---it was an 04 or somethin-----i was workin on 4 tires and alignment at 5 45--i need at least an hour-.-----after these 4 tires and alignment he had 3 tickets for 1 tire and flat repair----then he took in the mercury for the 4 tires--before i was near done with all the other work------there was something wrong with this person to come in at 7 pm to get there 4 tires done(when the tires where not in real bad shape-but yes it nbeeded tires) and alignemt---on this car there was many new front end parts put on(upper control arms-ball joints--but not new tie rods?-----)-------the point-i will admit--i was lazy and bottom line i did not get out till 9-and i took the short cut to get out at 9-----otherwise i'd be there later cause of this dickhead sales manager!!!!!---if he wants to sell work past close that is fine---but next time he better be ready to be the one doing it!!!!!---he only gets one time to f me over-------anyway--so after i did the tires i did not test drive and just put the car on the rack----it showed that the toe was out very very slighlty--i adjusted a quarter turn if not less---she came back today and said her car pulls---i drive the car--as i am driving--the car SWERVS right---then out of nowhere like A mind of it's own the car PULLS you left---this is only on accelaeration-----there was also much looseness in the steering box--these suspension systems on these old people boat cars suck--but it is a black persons car to as they also like the lincoln town cars and grand marquis--in anyt case either way--these cars suck!!!!!----also---the power steering reservoir was also way overfilled as i open the cap and fluid is almost spilling out-i did put the level to normal and it did not just PULL you left after that--on accelaration the wheel went left and right/all over the place on start off--let off the gas it went straight--the point--it was not her alignment--i think it had to do with gearbox----also-when you put cars on the alignment rack the front wheels are on a plate with ball bearings in there to turn the front wheels---this car felt like there was no power steering(with the car off)---even with the car off it should not have felt that hard to turn the wheels--i have aligned other mercurys and not seen this!!----there was something not saID--and we are unaware of the real situation---does this mean i now have to marry this car cause she says i did a faulty alignment and i have to keep tryin to fix it??--umm no----but this sales manger should of spotted a jerk off like this from a mile away--but i knew it--why didn't he--i KNEW she would come back-but i didn't know what for----people like you with these set ups should be executed---i bet you will complain to corporate to and compalin of faulty work and try to get someone fired for not there fault-----HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE THIS KIND OF JERK OFF!!!!!!!!!!!--pleasse kill yourself !!!!!!!!!!!!anyway---your story does not make much sense to me--just no detail and expect me to just believe!--i think mother f'r!!!!!
