I walked up to the counter to grab a menu. As I sat back down a waitress finally emerged. Instead of greeting us with a "Hello" or "Welcome" her first words were "Could you please move to a smaller table seeing as there are only 2 of you!"
Now, if I felt there was the slightest chance of the place filling up anytime soon, I would not have chosen the large table but it was virtually empty!
I decided to get out of there, however my girlfriend ordered a slice to go. As we were waiting for her slice by the cash register, 2 policemen came in and sat themselves at the same table. To my surprise, no one asked them to move!
This place is always very sloppy. This was the last straw. I live in the Towers across the street and will definitely tell all my neighbors and friends to boycott this badly run, unfriendly place. There is a great pizza place across the street that I will give my business to from now on!

Search Tipsmy name is Rick, and i am the owner of Precinct Pizza, formerly NYPD Pizza of Channelside. I have been the owner since i opened in 2006.
I was searching our name, and came across this article in ripoff report. First, i do not see how you were "riped off". Maybe the service was not what you expected, i do not know. it is 9 months ago. But if it is busy, and we ask a couple to relocate from a huge booth to a smaller one, the reason is obvious. Our restaurant is small, and we need the only 2 large boothes that we have for larger groups. As far as the cops, maybe they were expecting more cops to join them, and that is why they were seated there? I dont know. we only have 2 large boothes, the rest are all the same size. so we need the 2 large ones for groups of 5 or more. both boothes have a sign on them stating that as well.
As far as "sloppy", come to my restaurant, any time, and tell me where it is dirty. we always score well when the dept of health comes in. i will show my reports to anyone who asks to see them. i run an extremely clean restaurant, and i have nothing to hide. Show me where it is dirty, please. I am here 7 days a week in the mornings, and for lunch, and sometimes here for dinner rushes too. My entire restaurant is in full view of the customers, so it has to be clean.
The pizza place across the street from me is now out of business because no one ever went there. My sales are 4 times the national average of a pizza place. I will put my pizza and food up against anyone's in town.
I would like to meet you, if you are willing. Just come in and ask for Rick. Im sorry if you had a less than an enjoyable experience. That is certainly not the norm. I am not sure who worked that night, but if anyone ever has a bad experience, please let me know. my contact info is on our website, precinctpizza.com. In three years, i have had very few complaints, and many compliments.
Thanks, and enjoy !
If this place is always sloppy, why did you decide to go there and eat when there is a great pizza place across the street. Of course NYPD is already across the street so I guess there are two pizza places right next to each other. You are asked to move and that upset you so much you decided that was it and wanted to leave. Yet instead of just walking out, you actually took the time to order and wait for some pizza to go?
This seems to fall well short of any sort of "RipOff". So here is some advise for you. If the resturant is always sloppy then don't go there. If you are upset at the service DON'T order the food, and don't come back.
