Narconon Freedom Center is a joke. How do you help people kick a nasty habit when 60% of your staff is using?? The one thing that irratates the hell out of me is when is it ok for someone to test positive for 4 different major drugs, get fired, and collect unemployment and then 2 months later Get Re-hired! Oh and by the way Christina is still collecting unemployment as she works and collects a check as NFC's Director of Legal Affairs! You really want a cocaine addict running your legal depatment? Here's one for the Legal Team, is NFC allowed to have the 2 underage kids that they are treating.

Is it ok for someone with NO medical back ground to administer medication to a patient? One of NFC's Directors gave a patient 3 times the normal amount of a certain medication which ended up in an ambulance ride to the ER. I also liked the story of the guy in the wheelchair that sat in his own feces. If i was the parents of this kid I would be seriously pissed! i was pissed when I heard about it.

They used to have a great PR person and pretty much screwed her over. The whole firing people for their FaceBook content?? Maybe the Executive Director at A Forever should check his status! Clear view of him tipping up and draining the bottle of wine. Yes I have the picture.

The thing that really shocked me to hear is that most insurance companies think that A Forever is a chiropratic service. Per and his sister have changed the names of these 2 places so much that people can't keep up.

Please Please people, I do believe the program works but please DO NOT send your loved ones to either of these places. Most of the things that they say to lour you in is nothing but a lie! If something goes wrong and you want your money back dont hold your breathe! By the time the check clears they have handed out bonuses to all the E.D.'s and yet they don't have enough money to pay their employee's.

The rebuttal posted here is very typical of how Scientology normally responds to criticism by attempting to discredit the complainant.

I have no knowledge as to the accuracy of the allegations against the nurse. However, if the allegations are correct, what type of screening is done on employees that apply at Narconon? Are background checks, drug screens, verification of nursing licensure done?

In addition, it is my understanding that Narconon is a drug-free detox. Is the rebuttal stating that the nurse was able to obtain narcotics from the Narconon Center? That is very strange

I question either the veracity of the information posted in the rebuttal or their ability to properly screen employees who are dealing with a vulnerable clientele.

Narconon Freedom Center quite often has trouble hiring quality staff due to dishonesty on the part of the applicant.  For example, several years ago the Director of Nursing was relocating and stayed to hire and train a replacement prior to leaving.  A local female RN applied who claimed to have a DWI on her record was soon after hired. Staff felt she might better be able to relate to clients believing she had gotten a DUI many years earlier.  Years later after she admitted to stealing narcotics prescribed to patients from the center it was discovered that she had done the same at her former workplace, Oaklawn Hospital. To this day she claims she left Oaklawn because she wasn't getting enough hours when in fact its because she is a prescription drug addict and a thief.  Executive staff should have paid better attention to red flags like giving her personal cel phone to a client and inappropriately communicating with him via text message while he was still in the program or the fact that she has limited visitation privileges with her children.  Her nursing license was suspended shortly after due to the fact that she was not responsible enough to meet the simple requirements of the disciplinary action she had received. Although she was kept on staff in an admninstrative capacity she turned out to be lazy and incompetent. She frequently bragged to other staff that she would never be fired because her husband worked there.  She spreads slanderous gossip and lies about people who tried to help her keep her job when she was using drugs and repeatedly helped her husband when he relapsed. Staff currently employed at the center refer to her as "crazy" when they see her ranting on various sites on the Internet. It is a shame that treatment centers like Narconon and the staff that work there are fooled by deceptive, ungrateful and duplistic applicants who wreak havoc after being terminated for cause.
