This company has to be the rudest collection agency ever in existance. They call your home, your job or wherever they think you may be (in church if they knew the number). Chase Bank is the creditor in which they are calling for. I have a problem with Chase that I have been dealing with Chase. They breached my privacy with my 10 year old son. I have asked for nothing more than an apology and a reduction in late fees resulting in the matter I'm speaking about.
Chase turned my credit card account over to this "NAFS" company and these people have to be the rudest, most harrassing people ever. As one lady said on here, they use profane language when speaking to you, tell you to pay your "d**n" bills. Just yesterday, they somehow received my work phone number. They called me 3 times in less than 20 minutes. I explained to them the first time they called, that I could not receive personal phone calls at work and I could NOT discuss this matter with them during working hours. He (the collector, Mr. Porter) refused to take no for an answer, so I hung up. He called again and I told him the same thing again. I told him that I "demanded" him to stop calling my job and he told me "Don't demand me to do anything, pay your "d**n" bills."
I don't have a problem with paying my bills, just this one. I would even pay this bill if I could get an apology from Chase, and they lowered the late fees from this bill. I wasn't asking too much, since they caused my brother to hate me thinking I was trying to take money from HIS checking account in MAINE when I live in LOUISIANA to make a payment.
I feel that Chase did me wrong in breaching my privacy and I have even offered to pay a monthly payment to this "NAFS" association, but they didn't want to accept my payment arrangements. He told me that "there wasn't a s****. />
I can understand how collection agencies work, but this one goes a little beyond what is commonly known as "civilized". You aren't going to get payments out of me by treating me like I'm a piece of pooh. I can only do what I can and if that's not good enough, I don't know what to tell ya. But something really needs to be done about the excessive harrassment.
