National Choice Grants ripoff Winter Park Florida

I am the Chief of Police for a small community in York County, Pennsylvania. A resident reported that she received a call from this company claiming to be the IRS. The male caller stated his name was David Wilson and said that he would be able to send her $5000.00 in 48-72 hours all she had to do was give him her bank account number. They were offering this money to 15 faithful taxpayers in the area as a reward for paying their taxes on time.

She refused his requests for her account numbers and was transferred to a "supervisor" who actully sounded like the same person. He identified himself as Chris White and provided an ID number. Again she refused to provide any numbers although he was persistant.

I called the 1-877-851-4375 number and spoke to a female who obviously was dodging my questions. She provided a false internet address when I asked to look at their website for more information. She was well trained on how to dance around my rather direct questions. I terminated the phone call convinced this was an attempt to steal this persons money and identity.

Furtunatly she did not give any bank account information, however the fraud and deception is quite clear.
