I received a call from an individual claiming to be from grant.net...turns out to be from national health net online. This individual had a very heavy accent and was very hard to understand...he said his name was Steve Johnson..ya right. He claims I qualified to receive a $3500 grant that I did not have to pay back. I was weary...he said that it would cost $29.99, but also ask that I make a donation to the "poor people" and gave me a name of someone in India. I asked "if this is a U.S. grant why is the donation in India. I did not get a straight answer. They asked for my bank account number and routing number. I told them first to provide me with info to legitimize there company. They gave me the number 1-800-372-7085, but said that I would not get through because of a current snow storm. Convenient. Bottom line....money is not free....grants do excist but they are very difficult to get...there is a lot of papperwork. If it was this easy to get thousands of dollars...we would all be wealthy. I realy wish that some government agency would take action on this type of froudulent activity. these people belong behind bars.
